Stoked to say I’ve signed some new @hiispirits records to some dream labels.

It’s been a long time coming. I needed a hard reset after launching this project to some strong early hype, but finding myself in the strangest time in the music industry.

It took me a while to realise I needed to slow the fuck down and think about what I actually want from this project. After heading to Amsterdam last year I think my headspace creatively changed and I disconnected for the first time in my life from the perpetual feeling that I needed to prove myself to anyone.

Going back to the drawing board with this clarity helped me align with my core values and by extension connected me with the next little part of the journey.

Found this footage from rehearsals of me jamming one of my fav @logic1000____ tracks with an acapella from one of my forthcoming tracks. I’m still learning the best ways to jam with the drum machine, synths and stems but this felt like a good example of the potential.

What a way to launch my new live set. A singular experience with the best group of people. When I was invited to play at this intimate private doof I knew I wanted to create a completely new show that could bring people into the early hours.

It was quite the task getting the track selection, live synths, drum machine and a synced light show together but it turned into one of my fav live experiences so far.

When I started this project the vision was always for it be performance focused and it’s such a great feeling to be connecting the dots.

I’m super excited for what this modular setup can do - it can go anywhere from a dj set to a completely live performance.

I also got to play some of my new material which felt so good live. Looking forward to sharing these tunes with you very soon. by @colorize_music
