Grateful to the @lta for inviting the Hijabi Serves team to experience The Championships @wimbledon 🎾 This weekend was a reminder of why representation and access in sport matter. Every opportunity like this inspires us to continue opening doors for more Muslim women in tennis. Partnerships like these help create opportunities that extend far beyond a single event and we’re looking forward to building a more inclusive tennis community together. An unforgettable day reminding us why impact begins with access. Here’s a little recap of an unforgettable weekend. ✨🤍 We have some exciting programmes and exclusive experiences lined up for our community members, comment 🤍 below to join our mailing list and be the first to find out. #wimbledon #womeninsport #inclusionmatters #community #tennis by @hijabiserves
“Empowering, Representation, Enjoyable” here is what our attendees had to say about our Eid on Court. We welcomed over 100+ women and girls, including mothers and children, many picking up a racket and stepping onto a tennis court for the first time. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us, for making this a huge success and being a part of a special day. A powerful showcase of how community-led inclusive spaces can drive participation and engagement in spaces which have historically been inaccessible. “Muslim women deserve spaces where they can feel like they belong” - Bakhtaver Mohammad, Founder Hijabi Serves A special thank you to @thanseela.photography for capturing our special day so beautifully Join our mailing list to find out about our upcoming 6 week beginner programmes, socials & events! Welcoming mothers, daughters and sisters onto the court, encouraging one another, and stepping up together. It all begins with presence. Belonging isn’t given, it’s made. And when a community comes together, barriers fall, confidence grows and new paths are forged. To everyone who showed up, picked up a racket for the first time and stepped onto the court with confidence, you made this vision real. From all of us at HijabiServes, thank you for being part of this moment. This is just the beginning 🎾🤍 Captured by @thanseela.photography #muslimwomen #tennis #community #womeninsports #inclusion by @hijabiserves
We’re incredibly honoured to announce that Hijabi Serves has been named a finalist at the Muslim Sports Awards 2026 for “Community Initiative of the Year”! Alhamdulilah 🏆🎾 What started as a simple vision to make sport more accessible, inclusive and welcoming for Muslim women has grown into something truly special. In just over a year, we’ve welcomed over 600 women onto the court, created spaces for sisterhood and belonging and worked alongside incredible organisations to champion greater access and representation in sport. Rooted in our belief that movement can be a form of worship, this recognition is a beautiful reminder of why we started. A heartfelt thank you to every woman who has stepped onto the court with us, every volunteer, coach, partner and supporter who has believed in our vision. This recognition belongs to our entire community. 💙 Thank you to the Muslim Sports Foundation and LTA for this honour @_themsf @lta Here’s to continuing to break barriers, create opportunities and empower more women through sport. #womensports #MuslimSportsAwards2026 #WomenInSport #diversityandinclusion by @hijabiserves

It was a pleasure joining Salam Britain on @islamchannel to reflect on the journey, work and achievements of @hijabiserves over the past year. 🎾 From creating accessible and welcoming spaces for Muslim women in tennis and padel to building confidence, fostering sisterhood and a genuine sense of belonging, it’s been an incredibly rewarding journey. We’re so grateful for the love, encouragement and support we’ve received from our growing community. Alhamdulillah for how far we’ve come and for everything still to come. Onwards and upwards, inshaAllah! 🤍 Thank you for having me @mehwish.n4z @taslimah_rassool #tennis #womeninsport #inclusion #community by @hijabiserves
You don’t need to be an experienced tennis player to become an LTA activator. The main focus is to bring more people into the sport by breaking down barriers and running fun, inclusive sessions for the community. As a Muslim coach and player, I rarely saw people who looked like me when I started. Having a community that creates these opportunities is a powerful way to bring like-minded people together. It offers visible representation, showing adults and children coming to free park tennis sessions that they belong here, while giving you the chance to be the role model they look up to. At Hijabi Serves, we are dedicated to making tennis accessible to every woman, regardless of age, background, or skill level. In Sha Allah , we have many more opportunities on the way, and we’d love for you to join us in making a real difference. #tennis #womeninsport #lta #hijabiserves by @hijabiserves

Earlier this month, we welcomed our first cohort of Hijabi Serves Activators for the Rally Together London Project in partnership with the @lta and @mayorofldn We brought together young muslim women from across London for our first Hijabi Serves Activators Training through Rally Together London, equipping them with the skills and confidence to deliver tennis within their own communities. The session was delivered by the talented Nalette Tucker, fostering confidence and leadership skills in young Muslim women. This marks an important step in building a diverse female workforce in tennis and creating more opportunities for women and girls to access the sport. Our newly trained activators will go on to support the delivery of Free Parks Tennis with Barclays across London, helping us take the game into more communities and create sustainable pathways into participation. #HijabiServes #LTA #MayorOfLondon #WomenInSport #Tennis Community Sport London by @hijabiserves
