hi i’m still here, hope you’re all good 🪐 i’ve taken a bit of a break from creating to post because that’s not what we want! the end of 2025 was a stressy and emotional one with health stuff and losing someone very dear to me. but i’ve been feeling an itch to pick up my pen/paintbrush etc etc so here’s a little doodle…enjoyyy by @hijadesign_

morning light ft. my big ass disco ball canvas…thinking i should add these to my website for made to order ? 🪩🕺 by @hijadesign_

this post seemed appropriate since i’ve been doing some ghosting of my own…from this account. I haven’t posted since April…oops 🙂‍↔️

during summer, I had a bit of hard time with my mental health and it really dampened my creativity. I re-engaged with the kind of creative media I like to consume. Art that really reflects that person’s personality or a podcast that discusses the things I care about or physical media - I even signed up to a monthly print club!

The penny dropped that I need to stop creating things just because I think they’ll sell and actually create art that I like and relates to myself because that’s the main reason I buy other artists work! I want to create art that’s whimsical, charming, nostalgic and fun!

so that being said I’m not going to purge or redo all of my previous art and but from now on, I want to start creating things that I genuinely enjoy creating. I’m gonna tag some of the artists and creators that helped me stay engaged with art and the things I care about below! feeling good to be feeling inspired again ✨🍂🦇
