The gasp I gusped when I pulled this stunner out of the package!

This kickstarter edition arc is absolutely stunninggg, the foiling is gorgeous, the artwork throughout is amazing and it’s an omnibus so it contained three entire books: Recurve, Breakwater and Firestorm 🔥

Archives of Shadow and Blood is volume one of a projected ten volumes spanning the Elemental series, Rylee Adamson series, Questing Witch series and the Rylee epilogue series in chronological order. If you haven’t read these series by @hijinksink @authorshannonmayer then now is the perfect time to start!

This kickstarter campaign is now closed but you are still able to make late pledges! Thank you so so much Shannon, Erica and the team for this beauty of a gifted book!

I was so lucky to compete with my friend and we won our first buckles together.
I also won High Point for my division for the year (jacket).

Remembering that one time a few weeks ago I hit a moose.
Thankfully Tal, myself, and the horses were all ok.

Imagine multiple beloved fantasy series coming together in one massive, interconnected universe, with gorgeous editions and a chronological reading order that brings everything together!

And the best part? It’s coming to life through Kickstarter! 🖤

📚 This collection brings together the Rylee Adamson series, the Elemental series, the Questing Witch series, and the Rylee Epilogue series.

✨ Here’s what you need to know:

The first Kickstarter includes Volumes 1–3 of a planned 10-volume collection, featuring 11 full-length novels and 4 shorter stories/novellas.

And YES, every physical book comes SIGNED! No need to purchase a special tier for that! 🖋️

📖 Volume 1: Recurve, Breakwater, Firestorm

📖 Volume 2: Peta, Windburn, Tracking Magic, Elementally Priceless, Alex

📖 Volume 3: Priceless, Immune, Raising Innocence

And this is just the beginning! Volumes 4–6 are planned for 2027, with the remaining volumes expected in 2028.

Now, let’s talk about the tropes because there is A LOT to love here! 👀

🔥 Strong, feisty FMCs
🖤 Enemies to lovers
✨ Found family
🐾 Animal companions
⚔️ Forced proximity
👑 Chosen ones
🌙 Dark magic and dangerous adventures
💔 A Cinderella retelling with a wicked stepmother
🔥 Post-apocalyptic survival

All wrapped up in a fantasy world where magic never comes without consequences.

This is my morning hideout spot where I come first thing to write. Apparently it's been claimed today...

How about another first look at some art work from Volume 3? This piece is from Raising Innocence. I love seeing the whole process come to life from the design brief, early sketches, color rough, to final rendering.
Do you remember this scene?
