Here's Ru's full intro + ref sheets ‼️

"Oh so you've met Ru! She's definitely the warmest welcome to Dragonspine! Next time you see her, ask her to fetch me some vintage wine from a ruin, will ya? Subzero, no ice please ehe!~"
— Venti

◆ Name: Hikaru
◆ Title: Blue Flame
◆ Dragonspine Enthusiast and Adventurer
◆ Vision: Pyro
◆ Constellation: Ignis Blausonne

Basic info
(check the google drive link on my bio for her full character story):

🔥 Personality: Goofy (More specific: orange cat)
🔥 Likes: Other cats/cat ppl like Kirara and Lynette, Trees (more oxygen for her flame), Venti (to be specific, the breeze/wind around him) and sure him too-, pets/headpats
🔥 Dislikes: People who dont want to pet her, the tavern rule that she's not allowed inside (they think she's flammable even if her flame is contained within a -plasma- membrane (pun intended? yeah HAHAHAHAH)

You can ask me anything abt her in the comments if u want
I'd love to interact 🥹🫶🫶

(WIP) Ru backstory revision
(Reason: Rhinedottir should be in Khaenriah to start the cataclysm, so the first vers of Ru's story where shes in dragonspine doesn't make sense)

Actual revision: Ru is Khaenriah’s artificial sun.

Since Khaenriah is a human civilization built underground, Rhinedottir created Ru to serve a dual purpose: to serve as a powerful lightsource that does not require extra electrical/alchemical resources and a prototype alchemical human being.

Rhinedottir created her out of stolen Natlan flame (which she has manipulated to avoid alarming the Pyro archon) and created a skin-like structure that is comparable to that of a dormant pyro slime.

Her soul is half of Rhinedottir's and half of a cat's (one that Rhinedottir has dissected to study anatomy) to ensure that it remains stable in her alchemical body and that her flames would have a certain anatomical structure that caters to her unique circulatory/respiratory system.
(Cats have pointed ears and a tail that extend upwards, making it easier for Ru to breathe because she has no lungs. She breathes through the pores of her skin-like "plasma membrane" that filters certain gases that enter and exit her body)

In this WIP drawing, it shows her voiceline as she recollects the events that transpired before the cataclysm.
She was freed by the god of freedom himself but she doesn't recall who he is because she couldn't retain memories in that state
(Context: white stars burn faster and are close to death bc of how much energy it exerts. So Ru, being a white light while she was locked up, retained no memories of Khaenriah at all. She only recalls memories in her current blue state, but theyre not long-term bc blue stars also emit a lot of energy but are much cooler than the white ones, so thats why although stable shes vv forgetful and dissociates a lot in the main timeline

Okay tysm for reading this i appreciate u fr HAHAHA 🫶
