When your marketing insights make it to Yahoo Finance! 📰✨ Love seeing my quote about Gap’s brilliant dance campaign featuring Katseye - this is exactly what authentic brand strategy looks like 💃 “[Gap is] killing it, going back to their roots of embracing dance, and that’s what we knew them for” Sometimes the best move is going back to what made you iconic in the first place 🔥 Thanks @brookedipalma for the mention! #MediaMoment #DenimRevolution #RetailTrends #MarketingExpert #YahooFinance #Authenticity #Gap #AmericanEagle #LeviStrauss #SydneySweeney #Denim #Fashion #brandstrategy @gap @sydney_sweeney @americaneagle @levis @katseyeworld @target @yahoofinance by @hillaryh2pr
Quoted in @sourcingjournal on why celebrity campaigns aren’t hitting anymore 👀 “This isn’t just a debate about denim; it’s a discussion about identity, belonging, power and status.” The era of transactional celebrity partnerships is over. Consumers want authentic stories, not just famous faces. Are you influenced by celebrity endorsements or do you see right through them? 💭 #CelebrityMarketing #BrandStrategy #MarketingTrends #AuthenticMarketing #ConsumerBehavior @killatrav @beyonce @americaneagle @gap @levis @calvinklein @sourcingjournal @sydney_sweeney by @hillaryh2pr
And just like that… it’s over 💔 “And Just Like That” has been cancelled in its third season. Almost 21 years ago, I was featured in USA Today at my friend Briana Haas’ Sex and the City finale party. Back then, I told reporter Donna Freydkin: “Where are the tissues? Seriously. Last week, I was bawling, I was so sad.” You can literally see me crying in the article! 😭 A few months later, I met SJP at an event and she shared her sadness about the show ending. Wild to think I’ve witnessed both the peak and this latest end. AJLT didn’t do justice to the characters I love, but I’ll still watch anything in this universe forever. That original show didn’t just empower women — it turned NYC into the ultimate must-see city and put Manolos on everyone’s wish list. We got permission to be unapologetically SINGLE, messy, ambitious, AND to justify spending rent money on shoes 👠✨ Some magic just can’t be replicated. Thoughts on AJLT ending? Are you devastated or relieved? 👇 by @hillaryh2pr
📺 Featured on @TODAYshow discussing the @sydneysweeney x @americaneagle controversy... My take: “There’s no denying that the phrase ‘good genes’ carries historical baggage. When you pair that kind of wordplay with a blond, blue-eyed actress, it can unintentionally reinforce narrow, Eurocentric beauty standards.” Was it accidental? “Intentional. That line — ‘good jeans’ — is too perfectly constructed not to be. The creative team knew exactly what they were doing.” Controversy can drive brand momentum - but at what cost? Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley Jackson started this #incredible Voices: Stars for Foster Kids event 10 years ago to support You Gotta Believe to help foster kids aging out of the system find forever homes. I started attending this event last year, one of the year's most heartfelt and essential events. Funding for this organization is critical! by @hillaryh2pr
