The softest rebrand for Hillbird 🌬️ Over the past few months, Hillbird has evolved from a hand drawn logo to something that feels more aligned with the heart of the brand. Using the same imagery featured in the wedding guide, I’ve refined the identity of Hillbird to a simpler logo and a collection of interchangeable design elements that feel grounded, timeless, and cohesive. As the wedding guide made its way through what I’ve called Hillbird’s “peer review” process, one constant was that the photographs were what drew people in from the very beginning. (A huge thank you to @meghansiobhanphotography for sharing your art) That insight led me to think more intentionally about how those visuals could live beyond the pages of the guide. Incorporating them into business cards, promotional materials, and future brand touchpoints creates a stronger connection between Hillbird and the products it offers, resulting in a brand experience that feels thoughtful and consistent. There are still a few finishing touches to come, but I’m so excited to share what’s next. Stay tuned for final updates to the guide, details on pre-orders, and a special event we’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes. 😉 All my best, -M by @hillbirdcompany
A dual purpose post; a Wednesday intro & launch date!!! I am Monica, owner and founder of Hillbird. After a decade in the wedding industry, and following the sale of my Philadelphia wedding venue, I embarked on a new adventure – creating hillbird to better balance my professional life with being a mom of three. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m so excited to share the next step with you. For those who don’t know me, I’m also the owner of @willow.wynn.co, a calligraphy and design business. I’m weaving my passion for elegant design and bespoke craftsmanship into the heart of hillbird. My love of sewing and interior design also subtly informs the aesthetic, creating something truly unique and special. What is hillbird? It’s more than just a product; it’s an experience. The Hillbird Box, launching August 2026, is designed to be a luxurious and thoughtful gift for newly engaged couples, or a perfect investment for those planning their own special day. Each box will contain carefully curated items, offering both a beautifully designed presentation and practical tools to make the planning process smoother. We will offer two versions of the box: one including a comprehensive planning guide and one without, allowing for flexibility depending on your needs. You’ll also have the option to add extra items like additional cards or ring boxes. Our signature Hillbird blue will grace the launch collection, but your feedback is essential! I’m eager to understand what color palettes resonate most with you, helping me create future Hillbird Boxes that truly reflect your style. I can’t wait to share more details and officially launch hillbird with you on August 30th, 2025! Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks in the coming month. -M by @hillbirdcompany
When you remember to take content 🤌🏼 For this Floral Friday, we’re showcasing some florals and a tablescape we did for an event last Saturday. We had the pleasure of working alongside Monica from @hillbirdcompany to coordinate and design a luncheon. It was to celebrate the launch of her wedding guide, but more importantly, to thank the couples and vendors who made it possible. The design direction was “unstructured and whimsical,” with a color palette of varying greens. I’ve worked closely with Monica for years, so I was confident in following through with minimal direction and infused the day with texture, leggy florals, and even repurposed table runners to create interest as a tablecloth. by @hillbirdcompany
A rare Sunday post! We have been prepping for this launch party for @hillbirdcompany all week and got a few sneak peeks from @meghansiobhanphotography and had to share! The owner of Hillbird wanted to host a “gratitude gathering” for all the brides and clients in her soon to be published wedding guide. A stunning time was had by all. We are back on admin today and are so excited to share the stunning photos we will inevitably get back from this event! How many branded elements is too many branded elements? Personally, if designed with intention, you should put the logo on everything! Decided to go with a “perfect pear” theme for our sister company’s launch. Head over to @hillbirdcompany to keep an eye out for a launch date for the guide and over to @vauxstudio for all things flowers, weddings, and workshops! by @hillbirdcompany
Love posting envelopes, hate posting addresses. A little glimpse into something I am working on for @hillbirdcompany in conjunction with @vauxstudio! Excited to share the whole project :) 🍐 Stay tuned! by @hillbirdcompany
There’s something so timeless about fruit woven into floral design. And the embellished elements incorporated into the fruit for an added wow factor! Long before floral installations became a wedding staple, tables were enhanced with edible harvests. Clusters of grapes, pears, fragrant citrus, figs, pomegranates, and stone fruit were among the staples nestled among blooms as symbols of prosperity, celebration, and hospitality. Today, that tradition feels as fresh as ever. Incorporating fruit into your floral décor adds far more than color. It introduces richness, texture, and movement that flowers alone simply can’t achieve. Regardless if fruits and veggies are the focal or a supporting actor, they create layers that feel intentional, organic, and luxurious. It’s also a wonderful way to embrace the season. Or incorporate favorites to bring in a personal touch to your tablescape. For couples looking to create a unique atmosphere, fruit (& veggies) offer a beautiful departure from tradition without feeling trendy. It brings warmth and artistry that photographs beautifully from every angle.
