We made orbit! What an amazing and unreal experience. I’m honored to be a part of such a hard working team. Everyone at @astraspace has gone above and beyond to make this happen. #adastra #astra #launchoperations

We static fired our rocket yesterday. A lot of amazingly talented people making this happen. Proud to be a part of Launch Operations and helping to make it possible. Next up… low earth orbit.

A couple of years ago, my dear friend Adam transitioned from building award-winning @porsche race engines into aerospace where he started building rocket engines for Astra Rocket Company. After the team at Astra got their first rocket into space, Adam reached out to me and told me he was assembling a team and that I should apply for a job. Well, I’m extremely excited to announce that today I was hired as a field engineer and will be working alongside Adam and the whole team at Astra. This marks a big new chapter for my wife and me. We’ll be moving to the Bay Area by the end of April and starting a new career in aerospace.

Huge love and respect to my boy @just_adam_f ❤️ by @hillhudson

Life has been moving in all sorts of different directions lately. I’m not sure if motorcycles will fit into my days ahead as much as I wish they could. So here’s a rare shot of me on my last build.

Sending love and respect to everyone.

“This rolling masterpiece by builder Hill Hudson is a study in spareness and simplicity, but you can soak in clever details all day..”Flattered and excited about this. Thanks @forbes and @seeseemotorcycles 🖤

The new @seeseemotorcoffee in St. John’s is coming together and looking extra snazzy. We had the pleasure of doing some metal fabrication for the new spot. A few large retail display racks that double as custom moto podiums. Go scope the new spot, snag a cup of mud and say hi to my enfield.

I’ve always hated those massive inline springs on every kickstand out there. so I decided to make my own custom torsion spring loaded kickstand. I had to dive into my machinists handbook for the math involved with spring making, but it turned out well.

Trying to keep the handlebars almost completely bare has been a slight challenge. I finally settled on a solution for a hidden cable driven front master cylinder. I heavily modified a rear brake MC and made my own cable pull system. I also had to machine an aluminum banjo bolt and extension tube to clear the brake line underneath the tank. I’m hoping to finally ride this thing by the end of the week!
