Calm, elevated interiors for real life.
Grounded design. Natural materials. Thoughtful spaces.

POSTS STORIES REELS

I’ve struggled to put together an “about the founder” post because I kept feeling pressure to create the most polished, flawless version of myself. But the truth is, we all know that isn’t real.

At one point, I even considered using an AI-generated professional photo, but nothing felt like me. And the more I sat with it, the more I realized that if I’m building a business centered around creating thoughtful, lived-in spaces for real people, then I should show up as a real person too.

So here I am.

A wife, a mom, a full-time professional, and someone deeply passionate about curating spaces that feel warm, grounded, and deeply lived in. Spaces that support real life while still feeling beautiful and intentional.

I’ve learned that whenever I show up as myself, it always feels better than trying to be anything else.

I’m excited about this journey and grateful you’re here for it. The good, the messy, the beautiful, the evolving… all of it.

This is me. These are my spaces. And there’s so much more to come.

Some homes are renovated. Others are reimagined.

When we purchased this 1927 Oak Cliff home, we saw more than what it was—we saw what it could become. Over the past several years, every decision has been intentional: preserving the character that makes older homes special while creating spaces that feel calm, functional, and ready for modern life.

From restoring its charm to designing an outdoor retreat with lush landscaping and a new pergola, this project has been a labor of love. My favorite part? Proving that historic homes don’t have to sacrifice comfort, and beautiful spaces don’t have to feel untouchable.

Now it’s time for someone else to write the next chapter.

If you’ve been dreaming of Oak Cliff charm, original stained glass, a versatile guest suite, and a home that’s been thoughtfully cared for from the inside out, this might be the one.

We’re Selling Our First Home | Part 2

What did this project remind me?

Less really is more.

A thoughtful mix of color and texture will always feel more inviting than filling a room with “stuff.” Sometimes all a space needs is room to breathe, a few pieces that tell a story, and layers that make you want to stay awhile.

This home reminded me that clean and simple doesn’t mean boring. It means intentional.

I had so much fun bringing this space back to life, and seeing its potential become reality.

We’re Selling Our First Home | Part 1

Everyone loves the before and after. Fewer people show the before before.

After renting out our first home for the past two years, we’ve decided it’s time to sell. We knew there would be some work involved, but we weren’t quite prepared for overgrown landscaping, a bathroom in desperate need of attention, and more trips to the curb than we could count.

It’s not glamorous, but every beautiful space starts somewhere.

Follow along as we bring this home back to life, one project at a time.

A quick refresh for the summer heat!

I LOVE texture in every room.

Here, the movement of the oil paintings, the softness of the velvet floor lamp, the worn richness of the cognac leather pouf all give something different. Different materials, different moods, all working together in a way that feels layered but not forced.

My favorite way to be in design and in life: Simple. Collected. Not overdone.

Children’s rooms can absolutely be fun and elevated at the same time.

I love using playful floral or arboreal wallpaper paired with soft pastels, layered texture, and thoughtful storage to create spaces that still feel calm and intentional. Toys are welcome here, just thoughtfully contained.

And honestly, who doesn’t love a bed shaped like a little house?
