POSTS STORIES REELS

October 📚🎃
Threshing Day by Rebecca Yaros ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 so much more than a story about dragons and riders, it’s about finding where you belong, after all don’t we all just want to be picked by someone who really knows us, faults and all, and chooses us anyway
Under Story by Chloe Benjamin ⭐️⭐️⭐️ interesting concept just not my cup of tea. I found it very slow, long with lots of science, which made it a little confusing, perhaps it was just was over my head. I will say I almost DNF it several times in the first half but I am glad I finished it.
Drowning in Paper Flowers by EL Westbury ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ solid story, kept me guessing
The Women of Wild Hill by Kirstin Miller ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ incredibly satisfying and perfect for October
The Weekend Crashers by Jamie Brenner ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Writers and Lovers by Lilly King ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love the way she writes people & relationships
The Unmaking of June Barrow by Adrienne Young ⭐️⭐️💫 slow
The Things We Never Say by Elizabeth Strout ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this one stayed with me long after, it’s a slow burn
When You Loved Me by Beatriz Williams ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Every Version of You by Natalie Messier ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
The Romance Revival by Christina Lauren ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this premise does not iseem like it should work, but it did. I really enjoyed it
The Shampoo Effect by Jenny Jackson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

September 📚
Quite the diversity this month. Bounced from heavy to light and back again and learn things I didn’t know which is always welcome.

Closed out the month with two old , Theo of Golden and The Corespondent. They both soothe my nervous system and break my heart at the same time. And sometimes that’s just what you need.

Do you have a favor to reread when you just need comfort? I’d love to know.

Woodworking by Emily St. James ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this was a glimpse into a world. I know little about & I found it really interesting.
The Shark House by Sara Ackerman ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Code Name Pale Horse by Scott Payne ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 super interesting
The Shippers by Kathleen Center ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ she writes a really good, feel good book, predictable and sweet in all the best ways
Everything was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt by Ben Reeves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loveland You More by Emily Giffin ⭐️⭐️ this took some weird turns that just did not work for me
Evicted by Matthew Desmond ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this was brutal, but really informative and I learned a lot of things I didn’t know. I think everyone would benefit from reading it.
Down with the Shipmans by Meg Mitchell Moore ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫solid beach read
You With The Sad Eyes by Christina Applegate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I didn’t know much about her life before this book, it’s heartbreaking and difficult to listen to at times, but what a story of survival and grit

Five by Ilona Bannister ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ by @hmiles5378

Running looks and feels a lot different these days, and it can get discouraging. But on the days I really, really don’t want to get out the door, my friends are always there to greet me and they don’t care how slow I am
