Thank you to everyone’s well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. I haven’t had a chance to thank everyone individually yet, but I will get to it - I promise! Also, really appreciate everyone sharing our previous post to spread the word. Our family, especially Tiffany, is so thankful for all the support received so far. #thankful #communitysupport #fight #lupus by @hoboberryco
Hi everyone, this isn’t yours or our typical dog content. Haku’s aunt (my sister), Tiffany, has been in the hospital for the last two weeks battling lupus. About 5 years ago, she was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis, an autoimmune disease where the body’s immune system damages its own healthy organs. Recently, the disease began to aggressively attack her kidneys, resulting in kidney failure and a weak heart, amongst other issues. She has been officially classified as level 4-5 lupus nephritis. These past two weeks have been full of blood transfusions, dialysis, plasma exchanges, and some small surgeries. She will also be on long-term dialysis. After all of this, all she can think about is how @gryffin_dor_k is doing and making sure he is eating full meals, sleeping well, and is in good health. We’re very grateful Tiffany’s friend created a gofundme page to help alleviate some of the financial burden because we all know how quickly hospital bills stack up. Our family would really appreciate it if you could show support by either contributing a small amount or sharing the gofundme page to your community. You can find the link in our bio. Every action is appreciated 💜 https://gofund.me/8eb94611 #lupus #lupusawareness #kidneyfailure #dialysis by @hoboberryco

Updated hand mask routine! 💅 . I spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Michigan and was outside quite a bit and got to experience the first snowfall of the year (I didn't tell Kero because he'll be jealous 🤫). I miss snow so it was very nice, but I could almost feel my hands cracking the moment I stepped off the plane, even with gloves on ☠️ I brought Chill Bean balm with me to use, but I knew I would need to do a mask when I got home. The last time I posted my hand mask routine, Let's Jaam had not been released, yet! So I figured it was time for an update 🎉 Like face skin care, hand skin care is all about layers. I might even argue that layers are more important for the hands because you (should…) frequently wash your hands throughout the day, while you usually wash your face twice a day. Even if you use a moisturizing hand wash, the water and friction from hand washing can strip away natural oils. Layering your skincare provides some protection against that. For both my face and hands, I like to layer from thin to thick. Thin products theoretically penetrate more deeply and thick protects provide a barrier so that the thin products don't evaporate or dry out as easily. Has it gotten cold where you're at yet? What are you favorite skin care products for this kind of weather? . Save @hoboberryco with our code KERO10 💖 by @hoboberryco

Instagram vs reality of trying to get cute out the airplane window videos 😂 So, I had all these grand ideas of taking travel videos and creating a travel content/traveling @hoboberryco balm reel with cool transitions, but none of it actually happened 😅 First, I didn't really take out my phone while we were out because we mostly traveled in a group and I was mostly using my nicer camera. Second, Spain and Portugal temperatures were 80-90°F (26-32°C) while we were there and I didn't want to risk my balm melting! I brought the Barely There formula because I knew it was going to be hot, but I was still worried especially since the hotels didn't have clean fridges that I could just re-chill the balm in case it got melty. Then I got back to DC and it was 50°F (10°C)!! 🥶 Because my body was so used to the hot weather, it felt so cold and I felt a little bit of Michigan soul leave my body for even thinking that it was cold 😭 but it is what it is 😂 My skin has also been feeling the effects of the cooler weather so I've been using the Revive formula on my hands and Onmo bars for my body 💆‍♀️ Has the weather started getting dry and cold where you are? Or are things still steamy and warm? . Save @hoboberryco with our code KERO10 💖 by @hoboberryco
