Dear Agnes,
my Pheasant Empress,

You found me. Somehow you found me. It felt like I had been waiting just for you. Like we had lost each other a long time ago and finally found our way back, and could finally rest. Like two lonely, rusty and slightly broken cyborgs who had finally found someone who spoke the same language.
I felt kind of lost in some ways when you came into my life. But I remember that first time we sat on my sofa playing Tekken. As you were giving me the ass-whooping of the century, I remember that, despite the frustration and the ache in my thumbs, I suddenly felt this calm sense of finally having come home.
I feel so lucky and so proud of the world we’ve created together. And I’m so proud of how we inspire and push each other. With you, it feels like we can do anything. Like we could take on the whole world. Like the sum of us is greater than our parts. Like together we can merge into one huge, indestructible (stylish) cyborg and fly across the galaxy.
And I’m so lucky that you’ll go to such great lengths to understand me, because jeezuz, I know I can be difficult sometimes. I have grown and learned so much because of you. Together, we always somehow manage to turn our weaknesses and differences into strengths. We always find ways to make the bitter and the sour sweet.
I admire you in so many ways. You are wise beyond your years, funny, and the smartest and most talented person I know. I can’t wait until we’re two dusty old cyborgs and can look back at everything we’ve done, shared, and created together.
I’m not always the best with words, so I’ll let this song do the rest of the talking. But know that,
In every galaxy
In every dimension
I love you
(PS. Agnes is actually singing on this song!!! If you listen closely, you can hear her in the choir at the end!!) by @hokkiensnake

The Cyborg Wedding - new song out now!
.
This is a really big moment for me. The song I release today is my most personal song to date, I wrote it as a love declaration for Agnes to be performed at our wedding. We always make fun of how depressing and cathartic my lyrics are... But for once I felt like I actual had something beautiful I genuinely wanted to express. This song felt like the perfect choice to launch this new chapter for me as a solo artist. As meeting her had such a huge impact on my life and the shift I made towards making the music I truly wanted. Essentially becoming more myself, for which I’m so grateful. And she’s been so supportive through this whole process. Always lends an ear and gives advice when I need it. Her shoulder is always there to cry on when times are hard and I feel like giving up. She never let’s me give up!! and she believes in me sooo much😭😭😭 I Can’t wait to share all the new music I’ve got in store for ya’ll. And to my Pheasant Empress, I couldn’t have done it without you.

I'll be playing an acoustic solo set this Saturday at @vintage_vinyl_records_lund 4.30pm. Hope to see you there ❤️ by @hokkiensnake

Andy Yeo & The Blood of Love blends alternative rock, grunge and melodic songwriting into a sound that feels both nostalgic and contemporary. Inspired as much by 90s guitar music as by Hong Kong cinema and Asian pop culture, the band creates songs that feel like scenes from a film: cinematic, dreamlike, and emotionally charged. Through soaring guitars and introspective lyrics, the songs explore love, longing, loss, and transformation in a sound that moves effortlessly between vulnerability and catharsis, darkness and hope. by @hokkiensnake

Som det har kliat i fingrarna. Och nu är det äntligen dags att börja presentera akterna på årets Bodarpsfestival.

Först ut är Andy Yeo & The Blood of Love.

A hybrid between performance art and live music, the artists live out the fantasies of a long lost heritage, a fantasy of a queerer future and memories of burning desires.

Wow what a ride! First week of @ambereons is a wrap! It's been so fun and so intense. Was such a lovely process working with @danieljeremiahp and @rayrayroa who choreographed this piece "before my heart has grown dirty ". Ray made me part of the performance in a way that was soo challenging and nerve-wracking at first, but both Daniel and Ray helped and pushed me in such a supportive way! New stage moves unlocked 🔥🕺🔥 Here are some pics from the first 2 performances by the amazing @__adey__ .

We have 2 more performances coming up on may 23 and June 4 by @danieljeremiahp and @khamlane, process just started and I think it'll be inzzzaane!! Go to @ambereons for tickets.

I'll also be facilitating a music/dance improvisation workshop on may 20 at 5pm. Bring your instrument or body, it'll be fun! DM me for a spot❤️ by @hokkiensnake

AMBER EONS 🌘
Artist introduction - ANDY YEO
