✨When @laurever_ asked me to read Zodiac Academy, of course I said yes. This series has been on my tbr for years and was intimidating because it's a CHUNK. So no one better to read it with than my nebula ally/moon mate who has been fully diving into her romantasy era this year!! ✨No one warned me this series would be my next obsession! I spent so many sleepless nights binging these books. Did I buy the whole series as a shelf trophy after only reading half the series? Yes I did. I cannot stop talking about this series. So many characters but they all have my heart. So many storylines but I was invested in all of them. An academia setting with elemental magic and shifters and dark magic and power hungry characters...It's Harry Potter meets Fire Emblem Three Houses meets Fourth Wing meets literally everything you love in a romantasy mixed with trash tv. It was stupid addicting and I am so sad it's over. ✨While the last book was not our favorite (overly war heavy) it still has me wanting to immediately pick up book one over again to fall back into this world. I'm obsessed. Highly recommend the graphic audios! The cast was top tier! ✨I read Ruthless Boys series in between books 3 & 4. Personally I think you could read it before Zodiac Academy if you don't want to stop in the middle of the series. Now I'm off to Darkmore Penitentiary and then probably the rest of the books these authors have! ✨If you read these please message me so I can live vicariously through you. I'm here for all the reactions!! QOTD(s) 💬 Have you bought an entire series without finishing it first? What was it? 💬 What's your zodiac sign(/signs if you know them)? 💬 If you could shift into a mythological creature, what would it be and why? by @holly.fit.read.eat.repeat
@dapperdoughnutnorcal officially opens tomorrow!! We got to try them out this morning and definitely will be back! (The fact it's in the same parking lot of my cycle studio is dangerous...😅) The boys chose birthday cake and cinnamon sugar for our 2 flavors and loved watching the doughnuts being made fresh right in front of us! I also got a peach mango refresher. Congratulations Dapper Doughnuts in Rocklin! Go see them tomorrow in costume starting at 8am for spooky treats! #dapperdoughtnut #minidoughnuts #rocklineats #madefresh #doughnuts by @holly.fit.read.eat.repeat
📚 BOOK MAIL 📚 Thank you to these fabulous people in this corner of bookstagram... You're making my shelves so happy lately! @whatcha_readin_darlin Love that I can rehome some of your books! Hopefully can join in future book club meetings! 🤍 @jess.lost.in.pages I love Katherine Center and The Shippers is one of my anticipated reads! ❤️ @readlovereviewblog This lil boo basket exchange was so fun to do with you! It felt like a hug! I can't wait to read this book this fall season! 🍂 @authorashleywall Your book is the most requested book right now between my boys. They ask me to read it during every meal. Before bed. During bath. I think I have it memorized by now. 🌸 MINE BY STEPHANIE PHILOMENA 🌸 🍋The saga of the lemon streusel muffins...if you followed my story yesterday you saw that my baking skills could use some work (Okay ngl...I ran out of flour and still needed a cup and thought I'd try using pancake mix 🤣🤣). Betty Crocker mix to the rescue! 🤍 Proof I need your recipes in the back of the book @authorstephaniephilomena !! I couldn't stop thinking about Genevieve's lemon streusel muffins since she was on Asher's doorstep giving them to him. 🌸 Gen and Asher were a very sweet couple and this was a very sweet read! Read if you like a neighbor to lovers, she starts a new life, middle aged main characters, opposites attract, sick/caregiving micro trope, puppy adoptions, and a mmc who is smitten! 💬 If you had to make a dish that went with your current read, what would it be and why? 💬 Do you like your neighbors? by @holly.fit.read.eat.repeat

🔆 July Wrap Up 🔆 A sick household meant this month plans was survival mode. 😅 But still had fun celebrating 31 and doing lots of swims! 💪 FIT 💪 22 total workouts - 6 cycle classes, 3 walks, 4 runs (13.5 total miles), 3 strength classes, 3 pilates sculpt classes I also got the privilege of doing a few dance conditioning clinics for a local studio! It is always so fun and inspiring to see these dancers and help them build strength and endurance. 📚 READ 📚 Finally finished Ruthless Boys series and am beyond happy to be back at Zodiac Academy. I missed those characters and that world so much. I started Ruthless Boys after book 3 of ZA and honestly I wish I would have read RB series first before diving into ZA. Now that I'm on book 5, the characters and easter egg crossovers are fun but I wish I didn't have to stop in between the series. Just a tip for anyone that needs to dive in this universe later! Top reads were Theo of Golden and Jodi Benson's memoir. 🍴EAT 🍴 To celebrate 31, I had cake pops and cupcakes and ice cream! 🔁 REPEAT 🔁 In August I am looking forward to... 💪Okay crunch time for real. I have less than 55 days before my half marathon. Time to put some mileage on these legs. No more getting sick please. 📚 Enjoying the ride through Zodiac Academy. 🍴Kyle & I have a date night planned to try telerific. It's totally out of our comfort zone but excited to try something new! 💬 Do you prefer to swim in the pool, lake, or ocean? 💬 Favorite July read? 💬 Favorite ice cream flavor? by @holly.fit.read.eat.repeat
