“Writing a book is strange. You spend months talking to yourself. Then suddenly it’s called being an author.” ✍️ 📕 🤣 #NoChildrenOnTheInvite #itsnevertoolate #HollyDavidsonAuthor #secondact #bookwriting by @hollydavidson2020

Well… this is pretty exciting. ♥️
The September issue of Jupiter Magazine is out, and seeing “SECOND ACT” on the page stopped me in my tracks.
I took 19 years away from acting to raise my boys. And then one day, I decided to begin again.
There have been a lot of auditions, a lot of “no’s,” and some wonderful yeses—including the chance to play Marcia Schuyler in Four Down.
Thank you to Jupiter Magazine and Valerie Staggs for telling my story so beautifully — and a huge thank you to Steven Martine, the best photographer in the Palm Beaches, for capturing me so perfectly. ❤️
And to anyone wondering whether it’s too late to go back to something you love:
It isn’t.
This one means a lot. ❤️

One of my favorite parts of being on set yesterday in Tampa? My best friend landed the gig too 🐾 Finley and I got to work together and honestly, she may have stolen the show. 😆 #actorlife #tampa #goldenretrieverworld #dogactor by @hollydavidson2020

My favorite women to play are the ones who look completely put together…
and absolutely have a story they’re not telling you.

Maybe it’s the Texan in me.

A dear friend's son is in the fight of his life. He urgently needs a heart transplant.
This incredible young man has faced challenges since before he was born. His heart was damaged in utero. But then something extraordinary happened. He was welcomed into the arms of two people who didn't just adopt a child—they gave him a family, unconditional love, and every opportunity to be cherished. They have stood beside him through every obstacle with unwavering faith and fierce love.
Now they're facing the biggest battle of all. I know we can give David a chance in life that he didn't have in the womb. David is an incredible young man whose heart has been on quite a journey since the very beginning, with multiple open-heart surgeries and replacements since he was just a toddler. Now, at 15 years old, David needs a new heart. As of 7/13, David has been admitted to the ICU as they wait for a donor, and this next chapter will bring long days, hospital stays, and significant challenges for the family.

A GoFundMe has been set up on behalf of David and his family. We all know the financial toll a surgery of this magnitude can take, and we do not want them to carry this burden alone.

If you can donate, no gift is too small. If you can't, please share this post. The right person seeing it could change everything.

Thank you so much!!!!

A few moments from beautiful Westerly, Rhode Island. 😎
Sometimes the best days aren’t the ones you plan—they’re the ones you simply get to enjoy.
Grateful for family & fresh ocean air.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend. ❤️🤍💙#WesterlyRI #watchhill #summervibes #summer by @hollydavidson2020

This little Texas girl had no idea where life would take her.

She didn't know she'd become an actor.

She didn't know she'd become a producer.

She didn't know she'd spend years sitting in infertility waiting rooms praying for good news.

She didn't know she'd become a mom to twin boys.

And she definitely didn't know she'd be writing a book someday.

Looking back, I wish I could tell her one thing:

Don't be so hard on yourself.

It's all going to make sense eventually.

❤️

Just had a wonderful interview with Jupiter magazine! ❤️ Loved sharing my journey, raising my twin boys, getting inspired by Michael Caine, stepping back into acting, and playing Marcia Schuyler In Four Down (directed by Steven Cantor, produced by Mark Wahlberg and Snoop Dogg). Talked about my upcoming book on infertility and my desire to collaborate with more creatives here in Palm Beach County. September issue coming soon! Thank you Jupiter magazine! #jupitermagazine #fourdownmovie #palmbeachcounty #HollyDawnDavidson by @hollydavidson2020

Happy Mother’s Day ❤️ Looking back at these photos… before I knew what this day could feel like. To the moms. To the ones who are trying. To the ones in the waiting. To the ones who carry it quietly. I see you. For a long time, I didn’t know where I fit in this day. And I know I’m not alone in that. I’m working on a book about my journey through infertility-the hope, the frustration, the humor (because sometimes that’s all you have), and everything in between. And to my mom - you gave me a blueprint I didn’t even realize I’d lean on later. Strong. Independent. Full of love. Thank you. If today feels beautiful, complicated, heavy, or all of it at once-you’re not alone. More soon ❤️ #mothersday #infertilityawareness #tryingtoconceive #ivfjourney #youarenotalone by @hollydavidson2020
