✨Rancho La Quinta
This gig was a challenge since the home owners did not want to purchase any new items. Going room by room, we decluttered each space & did some rearranging. The home is being sold furnished & will hit the market next week.

Affordable Design Services For Your Home; Apartment, Condo, Home, & Vacation Rental Refresh by @homebuzzstaging

🛑 STOP SCROLLING! You need these tips:

✅ SAVE this post for reference later.

🫠Don’t even think about putting those sheets on until you have your mattress cover in place! Especially if you will be renting out your home on Airbnb, Vrbo, etc. you’ll need a bug bed proof cover. 🐜 These zip up completely and protect from dust, bugs, and liquids! Not to mention it will save you a ton of money on mattresses if there are any incidents.

😊 Next add your fitted sheet and flat sheet. Fold the flat sheet down once to give an inviting look. Your choice if you’d like to tuck it or let it hang! I prefer the tucked hotel vibes. 🛌

⭐️After the sheets are in place you can decide whether you’d like to include a light quilt to add a pop of color and/or extra warmth.

🤠Decide if you would like your next layer to be a duvet with a cover or a regular bedspread.

💕Fold the duvet or bedspread once or twice (revealing that quilt or sheet underneath) for an extra fluffy make. Tuck or untuck.

🌸By laying a light quilt or oversized throw over the bottom of the bed, you can get creative with more color or a pattern. Let it hang or tuck it.

☀️ Lastly, throw on your sleeping pillows and decorative pillows. 💡 I recommend using two medium firm pillows & two soft. Use two regular pillow cases and then two sham covers. ❗️Make sure the decorative pillows are the correct size. You don’t want them to be too small or too big. Odd numbers look best, but even numbers are just fine!

*Bonus tips: Keep in mind that material is important for temperature control & durability. Pay attention to sizing. Know what size your mattress/bed is before purchasing bedding. Don’t forget to measure the thickness of your mattress as well to determine if you need a deep pocket fitted sheet. If your mattress is a king get king sleeping pillows & if it’s a queen get queen pillows, etc. For rentals I like to use white sheets, white pillow cases, and white duvets. Bright & white = CLEAN. If you’ve made it this far leave a check mark ✅ emoji in the comments.
