A little PUPDATE… 🐾♥️ (Because so many of you have been asking - and let’s be honest, we all know Chip is the main reason you’re here anyway 🤣) It’s been a pretty rough week or so 🫠 What we initially thought was Chip being a little sleepy after spending too much time in the sun 😎 quite rapidly turned into her being unable to stand, literally overnight 😢 After rushing her to the vets, a CT scan confirmed two slipped discs, which meant her being rushed in for emergency major spinal surgery 💔 After a very long week in the vets, we finally have her home where she belongs, but now comes the tricky bit of four weeks of strict bed rest - something she is already absolutely thrilled about 🙃 But lots of crossed fingers that we’ll start to see some movement returning in those little leggies before long🤞🏽🐾 It will be a long road, but having her home is the best feeling ♥️ • • • #miniaturedachshund #daxie #chipthedax #aberdeen #aberdeenshire by @homewiththemarks

Malaga through mirror selfies.. 📸😂🇪🇸 A little sunshine, plenty of good times and just a few days with absolutely nothing to do - this was just what we needed after a pretty crazy few months! 🌪️ • • • #malaga #holidaylook #gayuk #mlm #menslook by @homewiththemarks
Allow us* to reintroduce ourselves*… 👋🏽👋🏽 We’re Mark & Mark (or quite commonly referred to as ‘At home with the Marks’) - yep there’s two of us called Mark, and yep it still gets confusing! 🫠 This page started as somewhere to document a house renovation 🏚️ - but since then we’ve renovated, sold and moved, travelled a bit, worked with some incredible brands and somehow convinced a few thousand of you to come along for the ride 🎢 These days you’ll find a bit of everything here… 🏡 The odd bit of interiors 🍸 The odd wine (specifically a Sauv spritzer! - IYKYK!) ✈️ Travel 🍽️ Good food 📸 The occasional overshare …and plenty of moments with our favourite people 🫶🏽 So if you’re new here, welcome! 👋🏽 But if you’ve been here a while, tell me…. how long have you been following for? Were you here for the Reno, the parcel police drama, questionable hair decisions - or did you find us somewhere along the way? 🩷 • • • #aberdeenblogger #gayuk #aberdeen #husbands #mlm by @homewiththemarks

The downside to downsizing…! 🌴🌱🪴 Safe to say that this place is looking less “city pad” and more “botanical gardens” 🤣 but I’m not mad about it 😉 Slowly but surely, we’re turning this little rental into a home that feels more us 🫶🏽 - just one plant (and piece of artwork) at a time 👏🏽 • • • #cityliving #aberdeen #aberdeenblogger #gayblogger #newchapter by @homewiththemarks

AD | Wined 🍷 Dined 🍽️ – then seriously reclined… a little Sunday reset at @malmaisonhotels was exactly what we needed…! 🙌🏽 After what has quite honestly been some of the most stressful weeks (they weren’t lying when they said moving house is up there! 😅), we were kindly invited by Malmaison Aberdeen to enjoy their Sunday Kind of Love package - and it couldn’t have come at a better time 🫶🏽 A cosy overnight stay, a gorgeous dinner at Chez Mal Brasserie, a few drinks, and then a slow Monday morning… sometimes that’s all it takes to hit the reset button before another busy week! 🔄 With rooms from just £69 when you spend £50 in the Chez Mal Brasserie & Bar, it’s the perfect excuse to extend the weekend without breaking the bank! 💸 Huge thanks again to @malmaisonhotels for having us to stay - we left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already planning our next Sunday escape! 🫶🏽 • • • #aberdeen #visitabnd #staycation #aberdeenblogger #scottishfoodie by @homewiththemarks
Week one in our new pad 🐸🪷 - a little spot for us to rent for a period of time, whilst we search for our forever home 🏡 It’s been a crazy week of moving, unpacking, and trying to remember which box everything ended up in 🫠 - but we’re finally starting to feel a little more settled now, and with a few homely touches - it’s beginning to feel like our little space 🥰 Here’s to this chapter and all the memories we’ll make here while we wait for the next one! 🏡✨ • • • #aberdeen #newpad #newchapter #gayuk #aberdeenblogger by @homewiththemarks
Home isn’t just four walls - it’s the little moments, the routines, the laughter, the tears, and the memories that quietly become part of you 🥰 That’s why this move has been such an emotional rollercoaster for us 🥺 We’ve been looking forward to this next chapter for so long now, but leaving this weekend has been so much harder than either of us expected 🏡 Saying goodbye to a place that has held so many memories has certainly not been easy! 😪 This home has been in Marks family for 60+ years, and it has always been our safe space too - a place that has held us through highs and lows - it’s strange how a house can become so much more than bricks and mortar 🧱 But whilst we’re closing this chapter, we’re taking all the love, lessons, and memories with us into our new home. Here’s to new beginnings, while always being grateful for where we’ve been 🩷🏡 • • • #newhome #newchapter #aberdeen #aberdeenblogger #familyhome by @homewiththemarks
Midweek makeover ✨ Well folks, the countdown is on ⏱️ - and I really need to finish these Reno diaries before we move out 🤣 - so here you have it! For those of you who have started following our journey from @scotlandshomeoftheyear - we’ve actually sold, and are currently in the process of hunting for our new place! 🏡 As much as we love our home, it’s all come down to location - and if we could pick up this place and move it, we absolutely would! But it’s time for the next chapter! 📚 So on to the main family bathroom 🛁 - well it’s had a fair glow up (Swipe 👉🏽 for the before)! But one thing that hasn’t changed is that pop of pink! 🩷😉 What all did we do?; - Stripped back to the bare bones ☠️ - Replaced the @velux window 🪟 - Fully insulated - Re-configured the layout - @laingskbb bathroom 🚿 • • • #renovation #aberdeenblogger #aberdeen #renoreality #gayuk by @homewiththemarks
