Book distribution has finally begun!!! 🚀🔭

After a lot of time put into making this book together and we could not be more proud of the final result. We are so grateful for this leadership initiative as we were given the opportunity to inspire young minds to follow their dreams and realise that learning has no limits.

This book is a testament to following your dreams. Harsha’s research that was required to write the book are his first steps in pursuing a career in aerospace engineering, Bailey’s illustrations show her passion for art and learning a new skill of digital art creation and Hannah being the voice that inspires the younger generation to follow in the same footsteps.

Stay tuned because this is only just the beginning.

Poverty doesn’t have one face.

In South Africa, poverty is often framed by the media through the images we see most — informal settlements, homelessness and visible hardship. But poverty can also exist behind closed doors: in ordinary homes, classrooms and workplaces.

A person can look “normal” and still be struggling to afford food, transport, electricity, education or other basic needs.

The way poverty is represented shapes the way we understand it. If we only show one image, we risk overlooking the many South Africans experiencing poverty in ways that aren’t immediately visible.

Don’t assume. Look deeper.
Poverty has many faces.

Thank you so much to all of those that donated boxes so that these kids can get a Christmas gift this year. You all have put extra effort in your boxes and have really given these kids the opportunity to experience real Christmas magic. You guys have shown true leadership in your respective schools, we look forward to further collaboration.
Thank you René and Mark for your service at Thandi House and the sacrifice you make for these kids. We hope to further develop this relationship next year with future projects.
