🧶✨ More than just crochet… it's about confidence, creativity and connection! 💕

Our crochet workshops have been going from strength to strength, and we honestly couldn't be prouder of all our wonderful students! 🥰

It's been fantastic watching them put their newly learned skills into practice, develop their crochet abilities and create some truly impressive pieces of work.

But what's just as lovely to see is the friendships and connections blossoming along the way. The girls are bonding, supporting one another, sharing ideas and growing in confidence, not just with their crochet but socially too. 💗

Seeing everyone come out of their shells, feel comfortable as part of a group and take pride in what they are creating is what makes these sessions so special.

It's about so much more than learning a new craft. It's about building friendships, nurturing confidence, encouraging creativity and having fun along the way.
We are so proud of every single one of you. Keep going, girls – you're doing amazing! 🧶🌸

Crocheting with dark, fuzzy or chenille yarn… NOT for the faint-hearted! 😅

Let’s be honest, this is NOT beginner-friendly! 🙈

When you’re working with dark-coloured, fluffy yarn, trying to see where your stitches are and where to insert your hook can feel almost impossible! 🖤🧶

In this clip, I’m working half double crochets (HDC) in the back loops only… and trust me, finding those back loops is a challenge in itself! 😂

You really have to feel your way through and rely on your crochet experience.

✨ My tip: If you’re a beginner, start with a lighter-coloured, smoother yarn. It makes seeing your stitches SO much easier!

But for those experienced crocheters who love a challenge… we carry on! 💪🧶

Today was all about flower keyrings, chain stitches and plenty of creativity! 🌼

@starfishacademyhub

Everyone was getting along brilliantly with their little flower keyrings, while some of us focused on practising and perfecting our chains.

We had a super productive session, lots of laughs and, of course, a little bit of fun along the way! 😂

One chain turned out SO long that we decided to put it to good use as a limbo stick! Who knew crochet could be a workout too? 🕺🧶

It's lovely to see everyone's confidence growing, skills developing and friendships blossoming along the way. 💕

Well done, everyone! Keep up the fantastic work, and we'll see you at our next session! 🧶✨
