As a photographer, I rarely end up in front of the camera. Every once in a while, some friends and clients pull out their phones and grab a few photos of me while I’m working. Seeing those moments later is pretty special because it’s a rare glimpse of me in my element doing what I love. These photos were taken during a couple private Audi photo shoots around the Chicagoland area, including locations near Rockford and Wood Dale. Being able to work with passionate car owners and capture their builds is one of my favorite parts of automotive photography. A huge thanks to @tango.b9 @rus.rslv @b.u.i.n.i.y for the photos. They me more to me than you will know. The car community around Chicagoland has been so loving and I am happy to be welcomed into it. One of the wildest builds at the Midwest Long Roof Car Show. This Porsche 911 GT3 RS stood out immediately, not just for the aggressive styling and track-focused design, but for one detail you do not see every day. Driver side running white wheels. Passenger side running black. A small detail that completely changes how the car presents itself depending on the angle. It is builds like this that keep you looking twice and appreciating the creativity behind it. Shoutout to #GTHAUSMeisterschaft for the presence on this build, and to #Chitownexoticcargroup for putting together an event like this. I had the pleasure of working with @chitownexoticcargroup at Wheels and Wishes for @calsangels . Shout out to Rex for the invite and trust to cover this one. Held September 13th at western suburbs hangar West Chicago private hanger. The car lineup didn't disappoint, and LFA, a Ford GT among the standouts. But the cars were just the backdrop. This event was all about the people showing up for Cal's Angels a foundation granting wishes and funding research for kids fighting cancer. Free photos from the event are on my website. Link in the bio. Go to portfolio, events, and down at the bottom cecg wheels and wishes for cal's angels. Photos are free. All I ask is you tag me as a photographer. -Matt Hook Matt Hook Media https://www.matthookmedia.com/Events-folder/CECG-Wheels-and-Wishes-for-Cals-Angels #fuckcancer #carcommunity #CharityCarShow #eventphotographer #matthookmedia by @hookey6
