Due to the tremendous response - and concerns from some community members - we have decided to postpone this event until after the election, maybe a few weeks or a few months down the road, “TBD”.

This in turn gives the opportunity for our community to Speed Date (bc we still really like that format) with our newly elected and/or re-elected officials, and look towards the future with a little more wag than nip.

We are sorry for the inconvenience to those of you who were planning to attend, but we hope you understand. Thanks so much for your continued support. @downtownpacificgrove @pgchamber #hopsandfog #speeddating by @hopsandfogbeer

It takes a village! Fairy~Tails 🧚 a sultry, seductive burly-cirque interpretation of beloved fairytales wouldn’t be possible without community support and sponsorship! ✨

🌟 Speed Dating with Mayor Nick & City Council Representatives 🌟
What if a few minutes of conversation could help shape the future of Pacific Grove?

Join us on Tuesday, October 20th from 6:30-8:00 PM at Hops & Fog Brewing for an evening of connection, conversation, and community. You'll have the opportunity to spend a few minutes speaking directly with participating city representatives, sharing your questions, ideas, concerns, stories, and hopes for Pacific Grove.
This event isn't about politics. It's about people.

Pacific Grove is filled with thoughtful, caring residents who want to see our community thrive. Whether you've lived here your entire life or just arrived, your voice matters. We invite everyone to come with curiosity, kindness, and respect for one another, regardless of differences in perspective.

Please consider arriving a little early so we can get everyone organized and make the most of the evening.

We hope this becomes the first of many annual opportunities for residents to connect directly with the people serving our community. We all have something to learn, something to teach, and room to grow.

Pacific Grove has incredible potential. Together, we can build on what's already great, reach for the stars, and create an even brighter future for generations to come.
💙 Good people.
💙 Respectful conversations.
💙 Shared ideas.
💙 A bright future ahead.
See you there! @pgchamber @downtownpacificgrove @krml @montereycountyweekly
