“We just want some greenery on the poles”….. well we were never going to just do a bit of foliage.
…..
Our version of the boathouse saw me imagine a midsummer nights woodland brimming with the best English foliage that Autumn could offer.
With golden bracken, arching rosehips, clusters of English Hydrangea, fallen crab apples, groupings of snowberry with tall Autumnal plants, ferns and twinkling fairy lights.
I wanted this ceremony space to be magical for Sian and Ashley and the team certainly brought my scrawling drawing to life.
For that I am eternally grateful. I don’t think I have ever felt so proud of the fab florists and myself included on this beautiful job.

Where it all began....
With my Nana and Grandad on Hopyard Lane.

I look back fondly on so many happy memories of late summer in the garden. The smell of warm peaches growing on the trees in the oversized greenhouse, heavily perfumed roses in the neat beds, fresh gooseberries and raspberries tangled in the netting and honeysuckle clambering around the windows of Villa Farmhouse where Grandad still lives.

I feel thankful that the outdoors was ingrained in me from such a young age. I just wish my Nana would have been here to see me become a florist as I know she would be so proud and interested in what I was doing. A master flower and plant grower, she would have definitely been my assistant!

Grandad was very proud to have his picture taken with the beloved yet slightly battered road sign.

A happy story for a little business.

Repurposing flowers is key now more than ever to maximise the most out of your flowers and day.
It’s super important to us to reuse your flowers wherever we can, transporting things from your ceremony onto your wedding breakfast.
These florals were moved from the chuppah and used to decorate the bottom of the sweetheart table to create a gorgeous luxe feel for our couple at The Andaz Hotel in London @andazlondon with our wonderful planner @elegantebymichellej

Thrilled to be Lead Florist today for @honeybunchldn at the beautiful Avington Estates.
A gorgeous array of tutti frutti colours with our outdoor ceremony in the Rose garden which just looked stunning!
The reception was in the impressive orangery where tables were adorned with whimsical bud vases and crocheted flower pots.
Happy wedding day to Fiona & Joe who walked down the aisle to this fun song. It really was a wonderful day!

A summery, airy and frothy gathering of the most pretty pastel flowers at the weekend.
Meadow and daisies was the brief.

This weekend’s wedding took us to The Great Barn in Aynho which was glorious. Delicate glass bud vases filled with sweet peas, vibrant Alchemilla and scented stocks. Frothy ferns and pretty orlaya.

Thank you to Isobel & Jack for letting us be a part of your special day!
