On September 27, Ħoss Project brought an electrifying concert to Crooswijk. The quartet seamlessly blended rhythm with colourful melodies.
With dreamy saxophone tones and sharp synths, they told stories through their music. Drummer Pete Galea enthusiastically shared the inspiration behind tracks such as ‘Wait’ and ‘Open Window’, giving the audience an insight into the band’s creative process. The audience even got involved by singing along to a repeated note during an uptempo song.
This turned out to be quite challenging...
Stay tuned the coming year as the band will release their new album!
Many thanks to the musicians, guests, sponsors, and volunteers!

New Ħossfam face!

What’s up #hossfam ? So much has been going on here :)

Firstly, this new beautiful face you see with us is @kellysnegative . Our favourite photographer and best pal! Can’t wait to show you the pictures we shot together, she even managed to make us look half decent!

We will share some pics with you all in due course, but you’ll see them plenty throughout 2027 as we launch our double vinyl/CDs, release our documentary, as well as touring Europe in support of the album :)

You can catch us twice more on this Autumn run of shows:
27/09 - @jazzincrooswijk - 19:00 free entry
01/10 - @jazzinternationalrotterdam - Rotterdam Centraal Station - 16:00 also free entry!

Big Ħ love xx by @hossproject

Moreover: to no fault whatsoever of the festival organisers, the venue we were to be placed in uses generative AI to create promotional posters for their events.

With our artistic mission, and the message we share through our music, this is not something we are remotely comfortable being associated with. Fuck generative AI. Its use in place of human artistry is unacceptable in every instance. No exceptions.

Looking forward to seeing you on 27/9 at Jazz in Crooswijk.

Dear friends and supporters,

Almost a month ago we have launched our crowdfunding to cover the last expenses needed to bring Hoss Project’s album and documentary to fruition. Although we were honored by a substantial grant by Arts Council Malta, there still a big gap we need to cover in order to be able to print double vinyls, print CDs, pay for the mixing and mastering of the tracks as well as the album artwork and print layouts for physical media.

So far we have received an astonishing response as we reached over 90% of our target! To all the people that got involved, believe in us and supported us: THANK YOU SO MUCH!

But we still need that 10% to reach our goal though (16 days left!!), so if you like what we do, the music we play and haven’t done so already, please consider supporting us as well by donating though the LINK IN BIO! We also have cool perks waiting for you, so you will not leave empty-handed!

The success of Ħoss Project so far has been largely due to the support of many, many amazing people who believe in us and what we are doing. These are the people we call the #hossfam. We do not take that for granted even for a second. This includes every single listener, everyone who has lent us gear, given us advice, helped us drive equipment to and from gigs, helped with booking tour dates, or simply coming up to us after a show for a chat. We are doing all this because we need to, but the #hossfam we build along the way makes it infinitely more special.

Will you join the #hossfam?

(feel free to share <3 )
