Perimenopause brings a lot of change, and what’s on your plate can make a real difference.

Join the Perimenopause Posse on 11/16 for an evening with Dr. Kalli Pratter @drkallip of @sagehealingco in St. Charles to learn how food can support you through this hormonal transition.

You’ll walk away knowing:

🔥Why an anti-inflammatory approach matters in peri/menopause, and simple changes to get started

🔥 What all the protein and fiber buzz is about, and why it matters for this stage of life

🔥 Which supportive nutrients can help as your hormones shift

Dr. Kalli holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine and an Acupuncture Certificate from the National University of Health Sciences. She has also earned an Internal Medicine Diplomate through the American Board of Chiropractic Internists.

She specializes in finding the root cause of dysfunction through lab testing, lifestyle changes, and nutritional therapies, which makes her the perfect guide for this conversation.

Come with questions and bring a friend!

Being told “your labs are fine” or “you’re too young for that” gets old. 🙄

Our Perimenopause Posse sat down with Dr. Ashley Caravelli last night for a candid conversation about what’s happening in our bodies, what our options actually are, and how to speak up for ourselves at the doctor’s office. We left with answers and an overall feeling of empowerment.

Thank you, Dr. Caravelli, for giving us your time and your wisdom.

Perimenopause doesn’t have to be confusing or lonely. The Posse meets regularly here in Kane County at @houseof423 in Geneva. Join us for our next meeting on 11/2 for our next meeting! 👉 Sign up at mdwshop.com/events

I joined my fashionable, fun-loving friend Cindy Bord Zens for The Pynk Byrd’s Runway for a Reason at Eagle Brook Country Club, benefiting My Tata Testimony this past Friday!

Every model was a breast cancer survivor, and hearing their deeply personal stories made this an emotional, powerful evening. Their strength, vulnerability, and joy touched my heart—and reminded me how meaningful it is to show up for one another. 💕

So grateful to share an evening of fabulous style and heartfelt purpose. A special shout-out to Robyn Krueger, Amber Henson and the Pynk Byrd team! ✨✨✨

Let’s keep the support going: follow My Tata Testimony, learn about their work, and share this Reel to help spread the word. 🎀

Have a marvelous Monday Friends!

"Will hormone therapy give me breast cancer?"

It's one of the most common and most confusing questions women in midlife ask. Alarming headlines, outdated studies, and conflicting advice leave too many of us stuck between symptom relief and fear.

In October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Ashley Caravelli @drashleycaravelli joins the Perimenopause Posse for a relaxed, myth-busting conversation on:

✨ What the research actually says about HT and breast cancer

✨ Why the type of hormone therapy matters

✨ Other cancers women worry about

✨ How your personal and family history fit in

Considering HT, already on it, or just confused by what you've read? You'll leave with clearer info, better questions for your doctor, and a lot less fear.

Stressing about what to wear for fall family photos: start with mom’s outfit. 🍂

Pick her look first, then build the families outfits around her color palette adding different prints and textures.
Coordinated, not matching, and every photo feels pulled together!
