You didn’t order, but I still delivered 📦

Yes I did get a recovery truck for my 21st but not just to trailer queen my Civics and keep the miles down promise 🫣.

With the constant question of how I find such mint examples of everything I have started my own business as a sole car trader @house_of_honda .

I will be picking up every immaculate, low mile gem I can get my hands on which will not leave me prior to reaching my picky standards. From no expense spared recommissioning work/partial restoration to 30-50 hour detailing sessions no stone will be left unturned per car. Hopefully making things easier for enthusiasts trying to find a problem free, turn the key and drive it example 🤔 .

Of course I will cater to as many budgets as possible and I won’t be selling just perfection but the best examples I can find for smaller budgets also ! Keep an eye for my future sale posts not all Honda, any Japanese brands will be considered 🫡 .

Littlest Lawnmower 🤏🏼

Here’s my new little addition to my Honda hoard, 1982 Honda Melody reading 5850 miles from new ! 1 lady owner who bought it straight out the showroom and has had it in her hands until age 95, complete with full history and tonnes of paperwork. Arguably one of the coolest accessories for any full size retro Honda, these things come in every colour you can imagine. These as well as other breeds of Honda mopeds are something I will be selling over on @house_of_honda so if you fancy getting your car a matching period correct buddy you know where to go 🫵🏼

Honda Civic EJ9 £3250 Deposit taken ⏳

1996, Pre face early Honda Civic EJ9 - one of the last surviving Hawaii spec’s on the road. Dark Amethyst Pearl, 126k miles, 5 speed manual, MOT until 2027. Wind up windows, no A/C, new full set of mats, 2 x keys. Recent £1800 + recommission work for the road inc - clutch, 4 x tyres, exhaust down pipe & back box, radiator, battery, oil & filter, air filter, tracking, tie rod, idle valve clean, all wiper blades, new set of front seats. Solid shell, smooth inner arches, small outer arch defect to drivers side - older style repair to passenger’s (see photos). Few age related marks to the body - Lacquer peel to top of wing one side as well as rear quarter in an area. Lovely boot floor, engine bay and interior to match presents really well for the miles. Runs and drives absolutely spot on has a slightly high idle when sat running but doesn’t have any affect. Radio is present but is not connected, missing a parcel shelf, being seriously picky small area of rust/bubbling to boot hinge & roof rail area. 3 months of work have gone into bringing this car back to life, a genuine scrapyard survivor ready for the next owner to continue with. No swaps/offers £3250 by @house_of_honda

Trip to Hawaii 🌴🥥

A rather long stay mind you and poverty at its finest. One of if not the rarest spec EJ9’s left in the UK ! Wind up windows, tin top (someone has provided the honours of a sunroof) and no extras base level as it gets offered in one colour only. Scrapyard survivor, thousands spent in mechanicals including a new clutch and plenty of recommission work after being left for dead - battle scars and no show queen but as good as an 120k mile car can present. The most challenging Civic I have encountered with a serious amount of hours left in picky detailing work and extra clips/replacement bits to reach my selling standards but alas another back on the data base road ready again 👍🏼 by @house_of_honda

Gone but not forgotten 💭

One lifetime comes to an end but a new chapter elsewhere begins - EH9 House clearance garage find 🤍

Honda Civic EJ6 £4250 SOLD ❌

1999, Vogue Silver, 5 speed manual, Honda Civic Coupe EJ6 SE model. Very rare tin top, 85k miles, very straight car, always garaged - first owner had this for 23 years before it was enthusiast owned the next 4 and followed the same story. Alloy wheels, rear spoiler, A/C, heated mirrors, electric windows, working stereo, OEM mats, dealer plates front and back, genuine Honda exhaust, 2 x keys. New MOT till August 2027, recent £700 worth of works include - new tyres, front pads, rear drums & cylinders, shoes, new Bosch battery, oil & filter change etc. Absolutely stunning condition car all round - pictures speak for themselves. Very minimal age related marks to the bodywork (if any) barely a dent or scrape in sight. Lovely interior (bonnet pull is broken but still works) & engine bay to match, underside as good as it is going to get. Runs and drives absolutely spot on was used by my brother prior to picking up his EP3 who if he had the space would keep it as a secondary car. £4250 no swaps/offers - not your average calibre of Civic. by @house_of_honda

September stockpiling 📈

Personal collection, non Hondas and country wide collecting cars took the main priority last month. 3G Deck was evicted to make way for my First Gen Civic, my brother went through 7 cars in the quest to find the right one which added the EP3 to our fleet and I bought a third garage !

Today I started sale prep on the straightest showroom seller EJ6 I have ever seen. Miles aside this knocks spots off most other EJ coupes I have had. Rare Tin top model, manual, 1.6 and not 5 shades of vogue silver. Pictures speak for themselves - one not to miss.

Landed an unexpected trip to Hawaii, scrapyard survivor - manual 1.4 EJ9 in arguably the rarest UK spec. After chucking it through an MOT it is possible to get this back on the road & database ready for a new lease of life.

Gen 7 Celica is a bit of an odd ball for myself, was condemned on its last MOT. 1 lady owner from new, 50k miles - GT (if you know you know). A cross over that dare I say it tops any VTEC I have experienced, seriously underrated car. Amazing work as ever from SMD garage in Newhaven - will be back on the road with a beautiful underside ready to return for sale prep.

EK3 entered the chat at the end of last week, 75k miles - full service history and overall a very tidy car. Auto (cry about it) but a buyer looking to escape manual transmission premium will land a beauty. Awaiting a garage trip for TLC will be last listed out of this lot.

A little update on what’s been going on behind the scenes aswell as what is to come over the next month 👍🏼 by @house_of_honda

Toyota Celica GT £6250 SOLD ❌

2005 Toyota Celica VVTLI GT special edition, 6 speed manual, 52k miles from new ! One lady owner from 76 miles, central locking, working A/C, Electric windows/mirrors, MOT till September 2027. Totally Original unmodified car, has always been a cherished example. Stunning almost showroom condition interior with special edition GT half leather & alcantara seats with just as beautiful of an exterior to match. Pictures really do speak for themselves, minimal age related marks to the body if any. 3 x keys, dealer fob, service book (only 1 stamp), still retains OG dealer plates front/back as well as rear window sticker. Recent MOT works include - underside repair, refresh & prevention (full dinitrol application), 4 x new springs, brake backing plates etc - cost totalling around 2k. Was off the road from 2023 - 2026, slight pulley squeak from cold but disappears, 1 fuel flap tab is broken, tyres are a little old but fine, the stereo also does not turn on. Runs and drives absolutely spot on, takes off like a rocket ship - very underrated car. No swaps/offers £6995 by @house_of_honda

Rust free frame aswell as inner and outer fuel tank, new battery fitted. Runs and drives really well, has always been stored inside my house as part of my collection. Time capsule of a 44 year old Honda Melody, can deliver at £1 per mile, £1250 - no offers/swaps. by @house_of_honda

Honda Civic EJ2 £4250 SOLD ❌

1995, 1.5 LSi, 89k miles, 5 speed manual, EJ2 Honda Civic Coupe in a rare Paradise Blue. Rare factory optional extra Honda body kit & wheels, electric windows & mirrors, sunroof, MOT till June 2027. Everything works minus the Speedo is intermittent. This is my brothers car he has owned since last year. £2k roughly spent on full service inc - cambelt, new brakes, lots of gaskets, crank oil seal, all belts changed, spoiler painted, wheels refurbed - list goes on. Runs and drives absolutely perfectly has always been very reliable but burns oil always has done from day 1. Stunning bodywork barely a dent/scrape in sight (see photos) - few rust scabs to sunroof being picky. Tidy wear free interior to match minus a slight area on the drivers side seat of ripping/fraying. Solid shell perfect for an engine swap or to run about in if you don’t mind 1000 miles being 3-5 litres of oil. Current plate not included (N215 NRY)

(This is NOT my car to sell I am advertising it on his behalf - any questions etc will be passed on via myself) by @house_of_honda

Tidy bodywork with very minute age related marks a very cherished example - not your typical £1500 beaten off roader. Lovely underside, solid as hell arches aswell as chassis area good as it gets for one of these. Totally stock all round including a very retro looking interior - couple of imperfections on seats but really tidy overall. 2 x keys, Unused spare, plus OEM factory tool kit. Common rear door slight drop when open but this doesn’t affect use in the slightest. Quirky very capable car don’t underestimate it - perfect for an enthusiast or anyone with off road requirements. by @house_of_honda
