POSTS STORIES REELS

It’s about time… Grab your popcorn as you slide through…

So… who is Oluwabusola? 🤍

I’ve worn many titles.

Daughter.
Wife.
Creative.
Makeup artist.
Entrepreneur.
Voice-over artist.
Leader.
Sister.
Friend.
And so much more.

For a long time, I thought having many interests meant I needed to choose one and leave the rest behind.

But I’m learning that perhaps the different expressions were never meant to compete.

They are all pieces of the same story.

A woman who loves God.
A woman who loves people.
A woman who loves beauty.
A woman who loves creating.
A woman who loves bringing things to life.

A woman who is still learning what it means to steward everything God has placed in her hands.

I am still becoming.

Still refining.
Still building.
Still learning.
Still dreaming.
Still figuring things out.

And I think that’s the beauty of it.

There is no pressure to have the entire story figured out before you start telling it.

So, this is me.

Not a finished product.

Just Oluwabusola, becoming.

And I’m really glad you’re here. 🤍

Now that you’ve met me, I want to meet you too.

Tell me one thing about you I should know in the comments. 👇🏾 by @houseofadura_studios

A little reminder for me, and maybe for you, too. 🤎

Sometimes, we’re so busy looking at what everyone else is doing that we forget to appreciate what we’re building ourselves.

Your journey doesn’t have to look like theirs. Your pace doesn’t have to match theirs. And you don’t have to be where someone else is just because you’re both working towards something.

Take a moment to look at how far you’ve come. Look at what you’re creating. Give yourself some credit.

You’re learning. You’re growing. You’re doing better than you think.

And please, don’t forget that your hands are blessed. ✨

Keep showing up for yourself. Keep refining your craft. Your work deserves to be seen, too. 🤎

POV: You finally found a makeup artist your melanin can trust. 🤎✨

Oh, this face! 😮‍💨🤎✨

Melanin, radiant skin, softly defined features, and a pop of colour that brings everything together. 💗

Beautifully her. Intentionally refined just like we do it at House of Àdúrà Studios

I saw her face before she ever saw herself like this. 🥹🤎

I had seen her before, but one Sunday, I looked at her again and thought, “This lady has such a beautiful face. I would love to work on this face.”

So I walked up to her and asked, “Do you model?”

She said no. 😂

I told her she really should consider it because she had such beautiful features, and modelling could even become a source of income for her. I asked her to think about it, and that was that.

Fast forward to when I needed a model, I reached out to her.

And she came. 🤎

This was actually her first proper makeup experience, so watching her see herself in the mirror for the first time was EVERYTHING to me. 😭

You can literally see how excited I was in the video because I was just as excited for her to see what I had seen in her from the beginning.

And THIS is one of my favourite parts of being a makeup artist.

It is not just about applying makeup.

It is about helping a woman see the beauty that is already hers. Helping her feel it. Helping her experience herself in a way that maybe she hasn’t before.

I don’t want you to leave my chair looking like somebody else.

I want you to look in the mirror and see a beautifully refined version of YOU.

This is what we do at House of Àdúrà Studio.
Beauty is refined. Intention meets artistry. And every face gets to remain beautifully you. 🤎✨

Transition✨💄

I wanted the skin to look like skin… but I wanted the eyes to POP. 🤎✨

I knew I wanted a clean, skin finish look for this beautiful melanin muse, but I also wanted to have a little fun.

So we kept the complexion fresh, radiant and refined, then brought in that beautiful pop of colour on the eyes. And honestly? I think we did a thing. 😮‍💨🔥

There’s something about makeup that allows you to keep your beauty looking like you while still giving you room to play, experiment and make a statement.

Melanin, skin finish and a little POP. Just the way I like it. 🤎

She had concluded makeup wasn’t for her. Then she looked in the mirror. 🥹🤎

It wasn’t because she didn’t like makeup. She had simply had an experience with makeup that made her feel like it just wasn’t for her.

So hearing her say, “This is so good. This is the best. Thank you for making me look beautiful,” after seeing herself in the mirror meant so much to me.

Sometimes, makeup isn’t the problem. Sometimes, you just haven’t experienced artistry that understands you.

At House of Àdúrà Studios, I don’t want you leaving my chair feeling like you’ve become someone else.

I want you to look in the mirror and still recognise yourself just a little more refined, a little more radiant, and reminded of how beautiful you already are.

And this is exactly why I love what I do.

Not to give you a new face.
Not to make you look like someone else.

But to help you see what was already there.

We don’t change faces. We refine beauty. ✨

There are some clients you know you’ll remember for a very long time. 🤍

Glamming Grandma for her 90th birthday was one of those moments.

Her expressions, her patience, the way she watched every detail… everything about this session was so beautiful.

I’m so grateful I got to be a little part of such a special milestone. 🥹
