A moment of appreciation for Ms Young Africa First Princess 26/27 herself, Emmanuela. πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Event: Majour Rooted Orgininser: @majormodelbehaviourcic @missmajorofficial Location: The Ultimate Bar and Grill πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Model: @x_prettychick_x Leather Corset and Chantilly Lace Dress: Litany Of Steel Designer: @houseofhood1990 Make-Up: @getglamwithmyaremia Hair: @navsoroyamakeup Content Creator/Photographer: @reneajaide_ πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Thank you for wearing Litany of Steel and bringing this piece to life. The leather corset and lace dress seemed almost destined for you, coming together in a way that felt both effortless and striking. From the very first moment I laid eyes on you, I knew I wanted you to wear this look. Then came the casting, and watching your walk only confirmed what I already knew. Your presence, your confidence, and yes, those incredible long legs made you impossible to overlook. There is something truly special about seeing a design leave your hands and take on a life of its own. Your beauty, elegance, and poise brought a new dimension to Litany of Steel, giving the garment a presence that photographs alone could never fully capture. Thank you for trusting me with this moment and for wearing my work so beautifully. You didn't simply wear the garment; you embodied its spirit. Thank you for bringing It's A Belter to life for House of Hood. I was thrilled to hear you'd had your eye on this piece, and seeing you wear it made it all the more special. Your energy, presence, and individuality brought something beautiful to the garment. It's one thing to create a piece, but seeing someone embody it, make it their own, and bring their personality into the design is what makes fashion so powerful. Thank you for being part of the vision and bringing your own magic to House of Hood. One piece. One vision. A whole attitude. β€” HOUSE OF HOOD πŸ–€ #hautecouture #fashionphotography #designer #rotted2026 #fashionphotography by @houseofhood1990
Major Rooted Event. πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š So I want to say a big thank you for @majormodelbehaviourcic for this event that she created and put together. Not only that, but meeting all the creatives and models that you brought together. So thank you once again. πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š Last night showed me what having a team behind me can do and achieve. I didn't even even ask the models and creatives to do anything. They just knew what to do. I haven't got everything back, but some things my family caught and one or 2 behind the scenes footage. πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š Huge shout out to the models, photographers, Web and app designer, contentent creatives, make up artist. So many of us have so many different skills, and this is what I loved about last night. πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š Event: Rooted Expieriance Orginiser: @majormodelbehaviourcic Location: The Intimate Bar and Grill Models and what they wore: It's A Belter: Model: @variixx Tart-In: @lar.nz Litany Of Steel: Chainmail and Skirt: @ireneemberr Litany Of Steel: Lace Dress and leather Corset: @x_prettychick_x Designer: @houseofhood1990 Stylist: @houseofhood1990 Content/ Creative Director: @reneajaide_ Hair Stylist: @navsoroyamakeup Make-Up.Artist: @getglamwithmyaremia Web and app designer: @omar__nawaz πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š This is just a little preview of some things from the night. βœŒοΈπŸ’š #networking #collaboration #hautecouture #art #nowornever by @houseofhood1990
I am a warrior!!! πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Event: Rooted Experience Orginiser: @majormodelbehaviourcic @missmajorofficial Location: Intimate Bar and Grill πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Model: @ireneemberr Chainmailtop and Skirt: Litany Of Steel Designer/Stylist: @houseofhood1990 Photograoher: @willboltt Vidiographer: @usowave_rem Content Creator: @reneajaide_ Hairstylist: @navsoroyamakeup πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ A special thank you to Irene, who not only wore Litany of Steel but braved it. Chainmail is not always the most forgiving of materials. Cold against the skin, heavy in its presence, and unapologetic in its nature, it demands a certain strength from the person who wears it. The moment I watched you work, I knew I had made the right choice. You embodied the garment in a way that went beyond the materials themselves, bringing its strength, its darkness, and its beauty to life. I am incredibly grateful to you for wearing my creation and becoming part of its story. You looked absolutely stunning. From the moment I discovered her shoe size, I knew I had found the woman for Tart-In. It wasn't just about finding the right model for the garment; it was about finding someone who could bring the entire vision to life, right down to the customised boots created specifically to complete the look. Styled with my very own Vivienne Westwood bag and finished with tartan tights, this look is a celebration of rebellious British style, statement dressing, and unapologetic individuality. Tart-In was made to turn heads. Whether it's a night out or a moment that deserves a little extra attitude, this is a look that refuses to blend into the background. Alanna, thank you for bringing this piece to life once again. HOUSE OF HOOD β€” DRESS TO DISRUPT. πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š #hautecouture #fashionphotography #editorial #rooted2026 #dreamteam by @houseofhood1990

TOXICITY ❀️❀️❀️ Model: Anonymous/Male πŸ“Έ: @hoodvision90 Tailored jacket and skirt: Toxicity Mask: The Posined Veil Designer: @houseofhood1990 ❀️❀️❀️ Born from two opposing themes β€” Rancid Γ— Infatuation β€” Toxicity explores the darker side of love. A plus-size couture look created with the Met Gala in mind, combining wool, black silk lining, sheer sculptural elements, and hand-sewn textile rags. The patches were designed and created using my Cricut machine and chiffon material, while every individual rag on the skirt was hand sewn into place. The result is a garment that feels fragmented, obsessive, and deliberately imperfect β€” a visual representation of love becoming something darker. Infatuation + Rancid = Toxic Love. This is TOXICITY. πŸ–€πŸ₯€ Toxicity isn't simply about love. It's about what happens when love becomes poisonous. When Infatuation meets Rancid, the result is Toxic Love. TOXICITY β€” House of Hood. Beautiful. Obsessive. Destructive. ❀️❀️❀️ Toxicity is the piece and only garment I feel didn't get my full attention. At the time of creating this, I was myself going through some toxic relationships, and I just think I wasn't feeling my own work. This is why I would like to re-do this. Also, since creating toxicity for myself, I have also lost some weight. ❀️❀️❀️ #HouseOfHood #Toxicity #GothicCouture #PlusSizeCouture #AvantGardeFashion by @houseofhood1990
Made to be worn. Built to be remembered. πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Model: @lozz.through.a.lens πŸ“Έ: @fiftymmphotography Chantilly Lace Dress and Paitent Leather Corset: Litany Of Steel Mask: The Consercrated Wound Designer: @houseofhood1990 πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ LITANY OF STEEL: Where devotion meets defiance. Litany of Steel explores the tension between fragility and armour, softness, and strength. Chantilly lace meets patent leather to create a silhouette that is both seductive and unyielding. Delicate lace becomes a second skin. Patent leather becomes armour. Every buckle, every line, every detail is deliberate. A study in darkness, power, and controlled femininity. Litany of Steel β€” House of Hood. Made to be worn. Built to be remembered. πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Lately I'm seeing everyone posting in their lace dresses. So, I thought I would share a bit more about the materials. The chaintilly lace for the project had to be imported from out the UK, as nowhere in the UK sell it. Chantilly lace is a delicate, lightweight fabric known for its sheer net background, intricate floral patterns, and raised outline threads. For just under 15M of this material, I paid Β£126. For the Paitent leather, this material was sourced from London. Some bargains and haggling were to be had for 2 hide pieces that the man had left. I have heard other people call my corset pleather. When if you smell it, you know it's real leather. I think for 2 big pieces of the hide. I paid just over another Β£100. For me, this collection was one of my most expensive projects. However, when you see the 2 garments together, it just pleases me. How they both had turned out. πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ #HouseOfHood #LitanyOfSteel #GothicCouture #AvantGardeFashion #DarkFashion by @houseofhood1990
The Poisoned Veil πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Model: Anonymous/ Male Mask: The Poisoned Veil Designer: @houseofhood1990 πŸ“Έ: @hoodvision90 πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ The Poisoned Veil: A mask born from contradiction of toxic love and an add-on from Toxicity. Seductive in its construction, restrictive in its form. Intimate softness against the skin. The eyes are concealed, leaving only the mouth visible: desire remains, but identity disappears. πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ Looking through my work, I came across some experimentation and my work on how I wanted to make Toxicity. As she isn't how I'd want her to look or feel. Since creating that garment that I made to fit myself. I have lost weight. So I do think that I may need to re do Toxicity using the technique I have created with my masks. As throughout the beginning of that project, I have this technique written down. Also, weirdly, I found a random page of notes to do with toxicity and this technique. I think it is time to re do her using this technique and keeping to all the themes it was based on. πŸ–€πŸ–€πŸ–€ #masks #designer #experimentation #thepoisonedveil #houseofhood by @houseofhood1990
