We are thrilled to announce that Hoverscape has received the coveted Operations Over or Near People (OONP) instrument certification from CASA! This instrument marks one of the most significant regulatory advancements in the drone industry in recent years.

A special thank you to @hoveruav for their invaluable consultation and guidance throughout the certification process. Their expertise has been instrumental in helping us navigate the complexities of these regulatory changes and ensuring our operations remain safe, compliant, and innovative.

With this approval, Hoverscape is officially authorised to operate in closer proximity to people and over populous areas that meet specific operating conditions. This marks a significant step for the RPAS industry, opening new possibilities for innovation and practical, real works applications across the inspection industry.

Handing over! - Hoverscape welcomes new General Manager

After many years at the helm of Hoverscape, CEO Mitch Deam is departing the business and handing over the reins to Hoverscape’s own Chief Remote Pilot - Danny Elassad.

“In 2013 we started Hoverscape and it’s been a pleasure to manage it into the strong position that it is today. Working with Danny for so many years and watching him grow on his own management journey has been a highlight of my career. Hoverscape is in safe hands and will no doubt continue to grow and further cement itself as the pre-eminent drone and robotics inspection business in Australia” - Mitch Deam

Hoverscape will continue to operate as it has done for many years and welcome new GM Danny Elassad.

We're very excited to be among the first in Australia to give the new @skydiohq X10 a spin!

As an upgrade of its predecessor with sub-millimetre capture capabilities, the X10 will transform capture projects of trickier structures such as bridges and telco with its multiple payloads, +90° capable gimbal, RTK capabilities and a Flir Boson+ thermal sensor

This will be beneficial for ensuring consistent, high-quality captures well into the future.
