Erica (@wildbrushworks) are safe.

Asheville, NC and the surrounding counties are devastated by the days of rain, #hurricanhelene , flooding, down trees, mudslides, damage to dams, and more.

Our community, neighbors, and local business are sharing food, water, warm meals, Starlink access, supplies, and good spirits. It is beyond heartwarming. And federal aid has also begun to arrive into the area.

The local, regional, and national chainsaw crews, rescue and recover professionals, and power restoration and linemen teams efforts persist day and night…. and we are all beyond grateful.

The weeks and months ahead for Western North Carolina #WNC will be hard. As you think about how best to support those impacted, please think about the thousands of artists and hospitality workers whose livelihood comes from those who visit our beautiful mountains each year.

More information to come on how to help support this amazing community.
