I’ve had the pleasure of ideating some big tradeshow activations, but MICE this year takes the cake. We paired 4,000 wonderful folks to their perfect coffee at the @beanz.comau ‘Find Your Match’ activation. We blended an online experience with a guided IRL tasting, serving over 12,000 cups from 10 of Australia’s best roasters. Perhaps 2026 is the year coffee tinder goes global? 🧐 by @hughsbrews
Safe to say today was a good mail day 🥳 Can’t wait to get the @baratza Forte & the @brevilleaus Bambino Plus up on the bench! by @hughsbrews
Here for a good time, not a long time! Caffe Lelit was serving the good folks of Collingwood some banging Italian style espresso for 48 hours only. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to run some of the @beanz.comau partners through these killer machines! @venezianocoffeeroasters @st_ali @proudmarycoffee 🔥🔥 by @hughsbrews
It’s been a whirlwind month - I could not be more stoked to have joined the @beanz.comau team, part of @brevilleaus 🥳 You’ll be seeing me around flying the flag for specialty coffee & our amazing roasters from across Australia 👏 by @hughsbrews
After an incredible 4.5 years with the @slayerespresso crew, it’s time to say goodbye. Today’s my last day - pop through @melbournecoffeeexpo today and say hi/bye! Having the opportunity to represent this amazing brand and supporting the specialty coffee community has been a true privilege. I can’t wait to continue this work in my new role! Keep an eye out for what’s coming next 👀 by @hughsbrews
Tomorrow (!!!) the first Slayer Espresso Rally event kicks off in Aotearoa 🥳🥳 Auckland based folks, we can’t wait to host you at the amazing @machine_ltd space. Keep your eyes peeled for other events coming in this series, in Australia, Malaysia & Jakarta to name a few! by @hughsbrews

All good things come to an end 🥲 it has been an absolute pleasure hosting Charles and the @melbcoffeeacademy for the MCA Sessions cupping over the last 2 years. 9 events, 50+ coffees and 400+ attendees - it’s been epic! Big shout outs to @oatly for their support too, and for everyone else in the community who has pitched in & help us wash dishes 🫣😅 Keep an eye out for different events at the @slayerespresso showroom into next year & on the @melbcoffeeacademy socials 😉 by @hughsbrews
Big ups to the @doubledoublecoffee crew on their new roastery espresso bar in Perth. Swing by for killer ‘spros off of their shiny new @slayerespresso Steam LP (thanks to @theespressoproject) and for the some of the best coffee swag around 🔥 🔥 by @hughsbrews
