12 years ago having my first fight in Thailand winning by elbow KO! 💪🏼🙏🏼

This was my first time fighting with elbows so got a bit carried away as you can see… although my opponent threw the first elbow 🤷🏻‍♂️😄

My opponent needed his head stitched up and I needed my elbow stitched. It took a couple of months until my elbow was healed as it got infected after this 🤦🏻‍♂️

After a week off I’ll be back in the gym this week. More fights confirmed coming up in the next month or 2, so we’re looking to finish off the year strong with another couple of belts coming back to @aberdeencombatcentre 🏆😉 by @hurricanepedro

THE TORRY TORNADO 🌪️

Conran Wilson brought the noise to the Beach Ballroom as the main event of Aberdeen Combat Show 4.

A-class Muay Thai. A packed crowd. One unforgettable night.

Conran stepped up and delivered a performance to remember. Aberdeen, you showed him what home support means! 🔥

On Saturday night I stepped into the ring for my 12th Muay Thai fight, my first fight in over 2 years.

I felt great and was winning the fight comfortably until I got caught in the 3rd and received another 8 count due to a body shot in the 4th.

I definitely won rounds 1,2 and 5 but with the 8 counts evening out the scorecard it resulted in a draw. Absolutely zero complaints from me as it was my own fault slacking in the 3rd that got me caught and I had the right instruction from my team the whole time.

Bit of a bitter pill to swallow but I'm back and I'm here to stay.

Well done to @zackmccann__ and his team. Definitely need to run it back soon😄♥️

Big thanks to my team @aberdeencombatcentre and as always to my corner @hurricanepedro
@calumbuist and @macguy5. Couldn't do it without you.

And a big appreciation to my girlfriend and partner in crime @fayexmcrobert. From emotional support to pushing me further in life than I thought I could go. I love you♥️

Onto the next one😄😄😄 by @hurricanepedro

Draw for @mgrover.98 tonight on the Anarchy show. All 3 judges had it exactly the same. Fair result.

Mikey started off flying scoring an 8 count in round 1. Round 2 Mikey was still in control. Then round 3 Mikey got careless and got caught with a lovely punch and took an 8 count himself. Round 4 Mikey took another 8 count. Round 5 Mikey was back in control. Unanimous draw. Great fight for the crowd, Mikey and @zackmccann__ will have to run it back after that. Congratulations both lads on a great back and fore fight 👏🏼

We go again in 4 weeks time… @jamessfraser is back in the ring… let’s go! 😍

Young Ja’zer took his first loss of his career last Saturday. First loss in 16 fights and 4 years of fighting. He’s beaten multiple national and European champions. Won the Scottish title, ranked number 1 in Scotland, won 3 European titles, and was ranked number 1 in the UK for a year and a half.

In Muay Thai all the best fighters lose… Nabil was stopped by Superlek, then became world champion less than 2 years later and then rematched and beat Superlek. Nico Carrillo got stopped from Nabil, then become world champion 1 year later. Haggerty got stopped and beat from Rodtang and Superlek and is now the current world champion. Josh Hill got stopped in March this year then successfully defended his world title against Ja on Saturday. This is the highs and lows of elite level Muay Thai!

This is still only the start… we will be back! 😉

Still love you young Ja’zer… til the wheels fall off! ❤️
