Unfortunately, we can't create a montage with our music from the cartoon yet, but I think it's okay if we use the functionality and honor the memory of the wonderful film that inspired me ✨ A short video that I'd like to use to highlight how grateful I am to my small, talented team HVOYA! by @hvoya_t

Soon on YouTube ✨ The Little Wolf by @hvoya_t

I’ve been gradually sharing concepts for the animated film with you. Many have pointed out a resemblance to «Balto»; in reality, that particular aesthetic served as the foundational style I studied throughout my years of practice. That was my goal, though «Balto» wasn’t used as a direct reference (ha-ha...well, perhaps my animators took a peek, but it wasn’t an explicit part of the brief). When developing the visual style, I wanted the wolf cub to look quite sharp distinct from the dogs with a more "spiky" or bristly appearance (I’ll admit, I was thinking of Balto here, but there was no direct, open reference). As for the dogs, I didn’t want to simply draw their fur as generic, banana-shaped clumps. I spent a deal of time analyzing the work of Cartoon Saloon and devised my own system for creating a sense of fluidity in the fur. The result combines geometric qualities with a sense of fluidity. Of course, I realize that maintaining a consistent style perfectly over the course of just two months is difficult, but I’m still pleased with the outcome.

Today, a miracle finally happened that I no longer believed in - at least one video from the post-production of the short film project "The Little Wolf" It was noticed by a lot of people. I'm so glad there are still people who care about the future of 2D animation. Thank you so much for your support!

I'm very nervous and cautiously starting to prepare my short film for publication on various online platforms. It's very exciting, considering the many nuances. It's a story about a girl A Chukchi girl and her animal friends. Is "Little Wolf" just about the little animal she meets, or...? / I left the dogs sketchy on poster to show how much we respect the classical technique of work and do not use AI! The project was completed in computer 2D animation with elements of 3D, as inspired by the works of famous studios in the 90s
