Freud also suspected a naso-genital reflex neurosis, as his friend, the ENT specialist Wilhelm Fliess, suggested. He operated on her nasal concha in 1895. Eckstein almost bled to death during the operation. During an emergency operation, a piece of bone had to be removed, causing half of her face to collapse. Nevertheless, she remained loyal to Freud, later trained with him, and became an analyst herself. >> Seduction Theory 2 Violet Gibson (1876-1952) was a pacifist and anti-fascist from Irish nobility with ties to the British monarchy. In 1913, she went to Paris to work for a pacifist organization and later joined the Jesuit order. After a stay in a psychiatric hospital and a suicide attempt, she went to Rome, where in 1926 she shot Benito Mussolini at close range during an event. The shot only grazed the Duce’s nose. Without trial, she was deported to England as a mad, lone perpetrator, where she spent the rest of her life in a psychiatric hospital. In February 2021, Dublin City Council honored her as a committed anti-fascist. Embedded with a screenshot of the original 1983 workshop of Starlight Express, component serves both as aesthetic object and a repository of cultural debris. Starlight Express is a 1984 musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber that weaves a fantastical story of technological obsolescence. In this theatrical production the actors perform on roller skates within an automotive fantasia, where mythology and faith intertwine.” #roboshea #hyphaecollaborativenetwork by @hyphae.collab
