Megyn Kelly: Here's My Phone Number

This week, my horror has reached new heights when Vivek Ramaswamy launched an ad against his opponent trying to shame her — shame HER. And Megyn Kelly’s comments about Jane Doe and the Cornell 7 case? Shocking.

For the past four weeks, I've been on podcast after podcast, interview after interview, trying to uplift women and our voices.

I’ve had it.

“It’s a courage that is reflected on every page.”

I was a guest today on The Mark Thompson Show. We had an extraordinary 25-minute conversation as part of his Election Eve show, which already has over 26,000 views!

Thank you, Mark. Your beautiful words about Wild Pivot blew me away. ❤️

You can find our conversation on Mark's YouTube channel. My interview begins around the 39-minute mark. by @i.am.jen.thompson

My brilliant friend and former Trustee Darren Rose and his gorgeous wife Bridget Madden-Rose bought a copy of my book, Wild Pivot, at Shakespeare and Company in Paris and gave it to me today.

When they gave it to me over lunch, I broke down in tears.

Wow, wow, wow. I have no words. by @i.am.jen.thompson

My open letter to Megyn Kelly has now received over 40,000 views on LinkedIn. (Not a typo.)

What I wrote was about how women are treated, how I have been treated, and finally finding the courage to say: “Enough.”

I've been hearing from women across the country, most of whom I don't know, urging me forward and encouraging me to keep speaking out.
With Election Day on Tuesday, I've been thinking a lot about women's power, and the ways we’re told to stay quiet.

My Substack essay today is for those women:

Please Don’t Vote if it Rains on Tuesday

Proud mom moment. The University of Redlands Men’s Soccer Team is #1 in the SCIAC! They beat Chapman today 4-0. Jack was awesome playing with the team tonight (his coaches and teammates are the best!).

He’s worked so hard this year in his freshman first semester, both on and off the pitch. Took him out to supper tonight.

Tomorrow, I am a guest on one of the biggest shows I've ever been on, and I've been on a lot over the past month. We'll be talking about my memoir, Wild Pivot, and what it means to find your voice after years of being afraid to use it.

It doesn't matter what picture I post. It doesn't matter what I say. The vultures have descended.

Women are so much more than what we look like. And we have things to say. by @i.am.jen.thompson

Tomorrow! ❤️

I'm excited to join Mark Thompson LIVE on The Mark Thompson Show on Monday at 2 PM PT to talk about Wild Pivot: Notes from a Political Life Rewritten!

Mark has been a beloved voice and face in American entertainment (American Idol!) and television for decades, and I'm looking forward to our conversation.

Hope you'll tune in! ❤️ by @i.am.jen.thompson
