"And I ran way too far just to find out who I was" Hi everyone! Happy new years! Wow 2025, you were a year. For me, 2025 was a year of loss, change, learning, and growth. Never, ever, could you ask me to repeat this year again, but I am so grateful it happened. One of my biggest take aways from 2025 is that truly everything happens for a reason. It may seem tough in the moment, but what you get out of it will be so worth it, i promise. I am so grateful for everyone who has been a part of my journey, whether you are still a part of it or our paths have taken us in different directions. I am thankful for all of the new people in my world, those Iā€™ve loved and lost, and especially those who stayed. No matter who you are or where life has taken us, I am deeply grateful for the part you have played in my life and thankful that our paths crossed. I am so grateful for all of the experiences, opportunities, and travels from this year. It's made 2025 truly special for me. To be free and experience the world and what life can be. And I am thankful for everyone who made that possible. Lastly, I am grateful for time. Time to heal, time to learn, time to find peace, and time to find myself. I've done a lot of rebuilding this year. Taking time to heal with myself and remember what truly matters. Remember to love. Goodbye 2025. Love ya! šŸ’—Lorelei by @i.like.sh4rks
"You wanna leave a stain forever" Hi everyone! Happy holidays! Guess who's back in New York... again... Me! We are back in the big apple yet again, but for fun, family, holiday reasons. We started off the trip with a late night flight, followed by a new New York Slice (interrupted) The next day was supposed to be a chill wait for family to come in type of day, so we went to check out the spy museum and it turns out I would be a great intelligence analyst! Unfortunately, the rest of the familyā€™s flight was canceled, so as fate so happens, we ended up with almost front row seats to watch Jamie Campbell Bower's broadway debut! We finally met up with the fam for lunch followed by an afternoon at the Rockettes. (Why don't people have audience etiquette anymore?) but the show itself was awesome. Then we got dinner and finished off the day by eavesdropping on our arguing neighbors. The next day started with (like most of our nyc days) at Macy's. After that we returned to the motherland (the east village) and had brunch at my favorite restaurant! (Yes I will be gatekeeping[unless you let me go with you]) then we stopped by the union square holiday market which was so cute! After that, we went back to Macy's (because what else is there to do) well one thing is to see a broadway show. So, it was off to see The Great Gatsby and then close out the day with dinner at Tavern on the Green. Which leads us to the final day of our trip. Kicked off the morning with ice skating in Central Park, some more shopping and then to the airport we went. Till next time New York and Wow holy it is almost 2026, that's crazy! Well now it's time for my seasonal depression to kick in (F1 off season) Nobody contact me until march 8th, thank you! Love ya! šŸ’—Lorelei by @i.like.sh4rks
ā€œDonā€™t hold me like you know meā€ Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! Itā€™s hard to believe weā€™re already through November. This year has felt so long, yet so quick at the same time. For Thanksgiving (like we do almost every year), we went up to Knoxville, TN to visit family. We drove through Hot Springs, Arkansas, where we ended up walking to dinner in the rain and arrived completely soaked. The next day, we continued up through Nashville and made a pit stop at Carterā€™s Vintage Guitars. We checked out a guitar from 1908, and I also found the new love of my life (a 2012 Deering banjo.) Then it was back on the road until we finally made it to Knoxville. Once we got there, we had good food, nice weather, played plenty of pool, and got to see the horses. We also stayed up until 3 a.m. watching Stranger Thingsā€¦ and I seriously canā€™t wait another month for the new season. On Thanksgiving, we watched the parade, played tons of cards, enjoyed a delicious homemade feast, and had amazing pumpkin pie. Iā€™m thankful for all the new people I met this year, as well as the ones who stayed. Now itā€™s back home (but not before one more stop at Carterā€™s Vintage Guitars to see ā€œmyā€ banjo, haha!) Also, I can officially start jamming to my Jingle Bell Rock Bottom playlist! Love ya! šŸ’— Lorelei by @i.like.sh4rks
"God bless the broken road" Hi everyone! This weekend I got to do my favorite thing (again)... watching very rich men go round and round. We drove up to Austin on Saturday to see the sombr concert. It was a good drive. We listened to Hannah Montana and some country music. (My fav at the moment is Made In Japan by Buck Owens) We also got dinner at this really good Tex-Mex place. The concert was so good! I just miss his older music style. Then it was back to the hotel to watch snl. Speaking of hotel, we just so happened to be staying in the same one as the entire Mercedes team. Which brings me to what I was most excited about... ... THE US GP!!! I am so grateful we got to attend COTA. It was amazing. We sat at turn 1 which was so cool especially after what happened in the sprit race. There were so many cool things at the circuit. You could attempt a pit stop tire change, they had the WDC trophy on display, and ofc we got to ride the circuit breaker!!! I also got to introduce May to f1. Fair to say she's officially obsessed (especially with Charles) As for the race itself, it was pretty good. Max was leading by a long shot, lapping 3 cars at the end. (mark my words he's getting his 5th WDC this year.) Lando had a good weekend (minus the sprint) so yay LN4! Oscar on the other hand, not so much. But go McLaren I guess. Well that's all for now. It's nice, I feel like I don't have to be busy anymore. I guess that means I'm at peace? Love ya! šŸ’—Lorelei by @i.like.sh4rks
