Discovering the Hidden Treasures of Meru West! โ˜•๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฟ On the 26th, I had the honor of joining the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) and fellow Meru West Tourism Ambassadors on an inspiring domestic tourism experience in Meru West. Our journey took us through the fascinating world of coffee tourism, where we learned every step of coffee productionโ€”from the coffee plantations, processing and roasting the beans, to brewing and tasting a fresh cup of premium Tanzanian coffee. Beyond coffee, we also explored the rich history and cultural relationship between the Meru and Maasai communities. Learning about their traditions, heritage, and shared history gave us a deeper appreciation of Tanzania's cultural diversity and the importance of preserving it for future generations. This experience reminded us that Tanzania's tourism is not only about wildlife and beautiful landscapes, but also about culture, history, agriculture, and authentic local experiences. Let's continue to explore, appreciate, and promote our own country. #ExploreTanzania #VisitTanzania #DomesticTourism #CoffeeTourism #MeruWest by @i_am_brown_phily

Tourism Academy Masterclass | From Classroom To Boardroom Ownership. On 29.05.2026, something done, dusted and shifted. At Via Via Cultural Tourism Center, Arusha a circle of tourism students and young professionals sat under open skies and listened to Dr. Lydia Jengo, a Talent and Leadership Development Consultant, unpack what it truly means to own your career. Not just find a job. Own your path. The theme "From Classroom To Boardroom Ownership" wasn't just a title. It was a mirror. Dr. Jengo held it up and asked us: are you preparing to be employed, or are you preparing to lead? For two hours, the conversation was honest, grounded, and practical. The kind of room where people stop nodding politely and start writing things down. Masterclass series exists for not to hand out certificates, but to shift how the next generation of Tanzania's tourism professionals see themselves. Was happened. And it mattered. #TanzaniaUnforgettable #tourism ##masterclass #viavia #friendsofnaturetanzania by @i_am_brown_phily
