Abroad With Love, always 💛 The last month of 2024—let’s make it a good one! 2025, we’re coming for you! #abroadwithlove #dakarfashionweek #mamaafrica #loosecontrol by @iam.charlyg
One year ago, I turned my passion into a full-time career. It’s been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Why didn’t I do it sooner? Fear. Fear of leaving the stability of a 9-5 job. Fear of financial uncertainty and change. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of lacking the right support. Fear of the unknown. The list goes on. These fears were valid, but I’ve always embraced challenges. When it’s time to push through, I bet on myself—always. I’m constantly learning, growing, and my support system is getting stronger every day. To my friends and support system: I know some of you are still not sure what I do for a living. You just know I travel a lot but always mention my name in rooms full of opportunities. Thank you so much. Love you all. What do I do, you ask? I’m a travel and destination event consultant at @abroadwithlove, a travel brand specializing in group and corporate experiences. Exciting things are in the works, so take this as a sign to follow @abroadwithlove! #abroadwithlove #travelmore #travelconsultant by @iam.charlyg

What started in 2012 as a way to feed my curiosity has grown into a lifelong passion. Over 90 countries later, I’m still in awe of how extraordinary the world is, embracing it as my greatest teacher. They always talk about a hot gal summer — but can we all agree it can be a hot gal autumn too? I was too hot this summer literally and figuratively 😅 so I’m declaring it a hot gal autumn 🍂🔥 #changeiscoming #happyautumn #doyouboo #travelmore #abroadwithlove by @iam.charlyg
About an hour’s drive south of Dakar, Somone offers a tranquil escape from the capital’s bustle. This peaceful seaside village is best known for its calm lagoon, where wooden boats wind through narrow waterways linking a scattering of remote islands. Pristine beaches and wide stretches of open land have caught the eyes of developers, carving up plots now quietly for sale. While foreigners come seeking nature, stillness, and space, a wave of construction is underway—largely unnoticed by locals, who may soon find their village transformed in ways they never expected. Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." In Togo Fetish Market, young boys, like other initiates, learn about Vodou traditions through a process of training and guidance by established priests. #togo #fetishmarket #africa #voudou #voudouizan Traveling the continent with #abroadwithlove @abroadwithlove iam.charlyg by @iam.charlyg
