Children are the heartbeat of God. Jesus said unless we become like children, we cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven. One of the highlights of my trip to Abuja was so spending the day at Cantaloupe Primary School for Bible club.💃🏾💃🏾

The staff is amazing and the children are so smart. Whenever I go to a new place, I make it a point to see if I can pray for the children. This is how we build legacy.

Daniel and Joseph were both used in government. Their positions saved many lives and gave them acccess to the king.,

You cannot change a culture you don’t engage.

“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My phone has been giving me some issues for over a month. I went to AT&T but they couldn’t fix it so they told me to make an appointment with Apple (THE MANUFACTURER). I didn’t feel like going through the appointment/waiting process so I just ignored the issues.

Guess what. The problem didn’t go away.🥺 Fast forward to last weekend. I called to schedule an appointment and the first thing the advisor wanted to know was, “Have you UPDATED to the new OS (OPERATING SYSTEM)?” She went on to tell me that there were things in the new update designed to fix bugs in the system.

We went through the process and for over six hours I couldn’t use my phone while I waited for a backup. Why? Because I was AFRAID to lose all the 18,000👀 pictures on my phone. . . A lot of which have ABSOLUTELY no value.

That’s the issue with many of us. We can’t enjoy the new because we are trying desperately to hold on to the old. Your new season can’t be actualized while holding on to old mindsets, toxic relationships, and destructive habits.

For optimal performance, you need to consult the HOLY SPIRIT (THE MANUFACTURER) for a SYSTEM UPGRADE. Read the Word, pray, fast so you can receive the system download.

In the process, some things gotta go. Maybe cookies (THINGS THAT YOU SHOULDN’T have anyway😬). Maybe cache (MEMORIES/INFORMATION THAT NO LONGER SERVES YOU). 🙌🏾

God wants to upgrade you, but you have to release some things to make room.

Your next season depends on it. Selah.

Whats one thing you felt an urge to drop after reading this post?

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord! Chi. . . We were almost a thing! If you have a idea, but you’re not sure. Ask the Spirit of Wisdom and the Spirit of Counsel to guide you.

Then your ears will hear a word saying, This is the way, walk ye in it when you turn to go to the right or the left. Isaiah 30:21

I graduated from law school 12 years ago. I was 40 years old.

I had left a successful career as a educator of 12 years to pursue what I believed was a different call on my life.

Lots happened while I pushed through. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She died three months later. My family fell apart. I started dating my ex-husband. I got engaged. Co-pastored a church. Got a divorce. Took two years to cleanse and heal. Then I started again.

Through all the transition, one thing has remained constant—God’s commitment to me. ❤️

Come what may, NEVER let go of His hand.

If you trust Him and obey His Word, He will make something BEAUTIFUL from your life.🙌🏾

Who is there who speaks and it comes to pass,
Unless the Lord has commanded it? Lamentation 3:37

How shall I curse whom God has not cursed?
And how shall I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced? Numbers 23:8

When God has not spoken, whoever speaks against your destiny will not see their words come to pass.

Whoever said you will never be successful will be the enemies who watch God prepare a table for you.

Because it is God who lifts men, the same power that promoted Joseph shall change your story forever.

The power that drown Pharaoh in the red sea shall drown your every spirit plotting your downfall.

Your breakthrough is no longer negotiable because the Breaker is preparing the way for you.

Aa God told Moses and the children of Israel who were crying at the Red Sea, He says to you,.

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: Hebrews 10:35

Father, thank you for the gift of your Spirit. I am grateful for your help and guidance in my life.

I will depend on the Holy Spirit for everything I do today.

I will not move solely on my instinct, experience, or on strategy.

Holy Spirit, lead me, alert me, empower me, and speak through me today. Without you, I can do nothing. Amen. by @iamadriennemayfield
