Power of brotherhood! 👑 by @iambigbrand
Special shoutout to the 4th Annual Baltimore CTE Food, Beverage, and Baking Competition—a powerful display of student talent, grit, and creativity. These students are the future of hospitality, and it was inspiring to witness them shine. This kind of work-based experience is the blueprint for how we cultivate leaders, invest in community, and tell Baltimore’s story the way it deserves to be told. Let’s keep building. I’m incredibly grateful to Mia Blom and the entire Visit Baltimore team for the opportunity to represent @thelachow and @futurethinkhub during a powerful panel discussion exploring the cultural heartbeat of our city and its potential as a premier destination. Sitting alongside a dynamic group of changemakers—Aaron Dante of NoPixAfterDark (moderator), Brian Dawkins of From Baltimore With Love, Monesha Phillips of Pandora’s Box, and Naijha Wright-Brown of Land of Kush and Board Chair of the Restaurant Association of Maryland—was an honor. The conversation was real, raw, and full of love for this city and its future. #LaChow #FutureThinkHub #VisitBaltimore #HospitalityInBaltimore #BaltimoreRising #CommunityInAction #CTE #BlackExcellence #FromBaltimoreWithLove 📸: @mauvlousfilmz by @iambigbrand

A weekend to remember July 10, Friday-Kicked off the weekend at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, for an unforgettable night as Chris Brown and Usher delivered electrifying performances. The energy, music, and atmosphere made it a spectacular start to an action-packed weekend. July 11, Saturday- Caught an early morning train to New York City for the Complex Family Style Fest, where food, fashion, art, and culture came together in one incredible experience. Later, made a stop at the iconic Yankee Stadium before wrapping up the day with an unforgettable Jay-Z concert. It was a full day of exploring, entertainment, and making memories in the city that never sleeps. July 12, Sunday- Took another early morning train back to Baltimore just in time for worship at Empowerment Temple. It was a meaningful service made even more special by the presence of the Kappas and the newly appointed CEO of Baltimore City Public Schools, who joined the congregation in worship. A perfect way to end a weekend filled with music, culture, community, and faith. July 13, Monday- Celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Baltimore Restaurant Week at M&T Bank Stadium with Downtown Baltimore, Visit Baltimore, Baltimore Restaurant Week, and Pompeian. It was inspiring to connect with the community and see Oleum Baltimore continuing to thrive. @chrisbrownofficial @usher @therealtank @nathanecorbett @shelondastokes @complex @familystylefest @empowermenttempleame @cutwaterspirits @jayz @pharrell @revdrrobertturner @oleumbaltimore @calbmore by @iambigbrand
Some posts stay with you long after you read them. This was one of those. Reading Garland’s words truly meant a lot to me. It reminded me why I believe in giving people a chance. Sometimes all someone needs is one person who believes in them before they believe in themselves. @kickingindreams, thank you for sharing your story. I’m grateful to have played a small part in your journey, but everything you’ve accomplished came from your own talent, hard work, and determination. I only saw the potential that was already there. I’ve always believed that your word matters. If you make a promise, keep it. If someone trusts you, honor that trust. Skills can open doors, but integrity is what keeps them open. Watching you grow over the years has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Seeing where your work has taken you and knowing I had the opportunity to help along the way means more to me than you’ll ever know. Thank you again for this incredible tribute. I’m proud of everything you’ve accomplished, and I’m excited to see what the future has in store for you. Let’s keep opening doors, creating opportunities, and reminding people that believing in someone can change the course of a life. by @iambigbrand
