It’s a blessing to celebrate another Birthday! Who needs my cash-app name? - #itsmybday #year35 #durantyear #leoseason #cashappme by @iamchuck_8
Still smiling from yesterday — my wife pulled off another epic surprise birthday weekend, and somehow she keeps outdoing herself. So much love, laughter, and quality time with family. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes🫶🏾 - I’m not Lucky, I’m Loved! - #35 #leoseaon #blessedbday #bdayweekend by @iamchuck_8
Honoring the GAINTS whose shoulders I stand on. My Father and Uncle, now in heaven. My Father-in-law and Godfather, still guiding me with their wisdom. Forever etched in stone for their strength, love and unwavering guidance. Now, I carry that legacy forward with my son. - Happy Father’s Day to these men who carved into the foundation of who I am today — and to every father who’s building the future. #happyfathersday #fatherslove #rih #missingmydad #missingmyuncle #blackfathers #dadgang by @iamchuck_8
First time fishing in a very long time. Being out here brought back so many memories when my father used to take me fishing. I didn’t realize how much I missed those days until now. Some memories never fade… they just make you appreciate the moments even more. 🎣🫶🏾 #fishingtrip #boatfishing by @iamchuck_8

Yesterday, we took a day trip to Ocean City that quickly became a tradition we will continue. This time there was no sun, no plans, just us three. Wes looks at you with a love that only shows up when someone shows up consistently. You’re everything I hoped for and more. We love you ’til forever runs out. Happy Daddy’s Day to my…I mean Wesli’s Daddy! 😜😍 #fathersday #lovehim #bestdad by @iamchuck_8

I got my workout in while the kid and the husband just…vibed Bowie City Hall’s new outdoor workout setup is that girl — equipment for kids, adults, and even accessible options. I was out there breaking a sweat while they were living their playground dreams 🛝😂 We wrapped it up with a peaceful lake walk — because nothing says “cool down” like chasing a toddler who thinks this lake is just a big ole bathtub 😩 It’s a solid 10/10. Go check it out and tell me — were you the one working out or just supervising in leggings? 👀👇🏽 #BowieMD #FamilyFitnessButMakeItFun #HotMomWalks #SassySweatSession #LakeVibesAndLunges by @iamchuck_8
Zoo mornings, cookout vibes, outlet escapes, and the three of us… Saturday’s never felt so right. While we’re young. #saturdayfun #whilewereyoung by @iamchuck_8
A truly successful photo shoot is achieved through communication and collaboration. It is understanding the vision of the client and being realistic in what we can do (and offer) as creatives. It is sometimes stretching ourselves outside of our comfort zone but also being confident in the gift God gave us. We (creatives) often times approach projects with our goal, our vision, our direction. However, we need to stop being control freaks and let the client lead us through their vision. This family always stretches me (in a good way). I rarely shoot in natural light and rarely in parking garages 😂. But the Director/mom/wife, Amaris Carrington, had a vision she communicated verbally and through imagery (Pinterest examples really helped). This sharing of the vision helped me to set realistic expectations to the family of what I could and could not create. Finally, location. It’s ok to let the client know that what they want to create might not be possible given the limited access to certain locations in your immediate vicinity; unless they are willing to make the investment to bring your services to such a unique location. Cheers to all of the families and clients that stretch us out of our comfort zones. by @iamchuck_8
