Living with sickle cell can mean constantly explaining your pain, your limits, your exhaustion, often to people who can’t see it or don’t believe it. And sometimes it doesn’t feel safe to explain at all.

That’s why spaces like Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc. 54th National Annual Convention matter. Our Clinical Innovation Consultant, Jade Parker-Dinkins, says it best: “It [@SCDAA] doesn’t just feel like family; it IS family.” 🙌🏾

💬 Warriors and caregivers: what’s something you’re tired of explaining? Tell us below. We’re listening.

Imagine this: You made it out of whatever has been heavy for you…the grief, the waiting, the uncertainty, the season that went on longer than you expected. Or maybe you’re doing okay but you’re almost at the finish line and you just need that ONE push to get there. Either way, life on the other side feels different than you imagined. But in such a good way. 🥂✨

I didn’t know this was possible before my own Year of Release. But I stood on a mountaintop in Medellín, Colombia and watched Hosea 2:21 come to pass right in front of me—the heavens responding, the earth responding, and the rain coming down exactly like He promised. And now I don’t just believe it’s possible. I’ve lived it. And I’m inviting you to do something your future self will thank you for.

I see who you are on the other side. And I’m celebrating you before you even take the first step. Congratulations my dear friend. We made it. 🤞🏾🥳🧡

Within thirty days I lost my job, my brother, and my car.

Life got heavy in an instant. And I needed to know that not all hope was lost.

The Year of Release is my twelve month journey of coming face to face with the identities, beliefs, and grief I didn’t even know I was carrying — and surrendering them for the life I had always wanted. One filled with peace, joy, and the kind of anchored stability that keeps you standing even when the waves come.

Seven chapters of deeply personal storytelling that take you from the lowest season of my life all the way to the mountaintop.

And an invitation to join me on the other side. 🧡

The most popular starting point? The Release & Rebuild Bundle—the ebook and workbook together for $35. Or begin with the ebook alone for $24.99.

The Lord didn’t just simply fulfill a promise to me. He rearranged the heavens just to show me that He could. And that’s how I knew without a shadow of a doubt that it was Him.

Upon my arrival in Medellín, Colombia the sky that had been clear suddenly opened up. Dark clouds rolled over the mountains and heavy rain poured down over the city below.

I just stood there. The tears came to my well-filled eyes and I didn’t try to stop them from falling. 😭

This was the word I had been carrying all year — finally coming to pass right before my very own eyes.

But let me back up for a second. ⏮️

At the beginning of 2025 God gave me a word.

RELEASE. 🤲🏾✨

Confirmed through Hosea 2:21 — that the heavens would respond, the earth would respond, and the rain would come. I received it and wrote it down on my heart. I had no idea how much I was going to need it.

The job. My brother. The car. The weight of 30 days that changed everything. 💔

And with what felt like very little faith left I got on a plane — to clear my mind and give myself a much needed break.

To be honest I didn’t come to Medellín looking for a miracle. But God brought one anyway because that’s just who He is.

And that’s why walking back in felt different. Everything hadn’t been resolved. The only thing that needed to shift and change in real time was ME.

Rebuilt. Ready. RELEASED. Standing on a mountaintop feeling closer to God than I had ever been. That peace equipped me to walk back into my real life. 👠💅🏾✨

Chapter 7 of The Year of Release is called The Rebuild. And this is what it looks like. Your copy is waiting 📙— link in bio.

The Word of God says in Acts 10:34 that the Lord is no respecter of persons — which simply means He doesn’t show favoritism. What He does for one He will do for another. Which means He is still the same God who rearranges heavens for people just like me and you.

Step out on faith. And watch Him meet you in your valley and bring you to your mountaintop.

Drop a ⛰️ if this resonated. And if you know someone who needs their release — send this to them today. by @iamjustjade
