POSTS STORIES REELS

— a little date night, a little @shaboozey 🤎🎶 by @iamkianalor

I wrote this song about grief 20 years ago when I was 15 years old. Back then, I thought grief was something you eventually outgrew… something time would soften until it disappeared.

I didn’t understand that I would still feel it today — in the quiet moments, in the memories, in the parts of me that never went back to who I was before.
Writing and singing were the ways I knew how to cope with it back then, and still now — a place to put feelings I don’t have words for yet.

We eventually learn how to breathe again, laugh again, love again — while carrying the ache.

You’re not broken for still feeling it.
You’re human. 🤍 by @iamkianalor

2016 🤍
A year that didn’t ask for permission before changing me.
Late nights, loud laughs, quiet heartbreaks, and moments I didn’t realize would become memories I still carry. I was broken and lost, figuring things out one feeling at a time. I found new faces, unfamiliar places, and the courage to step beyond what felt safe.

Here’s to the people I loved, the versions of me I outgrew, and the memories that still feel like home. ✨ by @iamkianalor

I get to marry my best friend in less than two weeks!

Let your love be stronger than your hate or anger. Learn the wisdom of compromise, for it is better to bend a little than to break. Believe the best rather than the worst; people have a way of living up or down to your opinion of them. Remember that true friendship is the basis for any lasting relationship. The person you choose to marry is deserving of the courtesies and kindness you bestow on your friends.
