It's still so hard to believe you're gone. Over the years, we always stayed in touch but there was a disconnect between us. Through forgiveness, we found our way back to each other and I'm forever grateful that we did. Rebuilding our relationship gave me memories I'll cherish for the rest of my life and I'll always be thankful we were able to find our way back to one another because I'm not left with any questions of what if. You left us on June 5 and we laid you to rest on June 29, but somehow it still doesn't feel real. Some days I catch myself wanting to call you or tell you something, forgetting for a moment that you're no longer here. I miss you more than words can express and I carry your love, our memories and conversations with me every single day. Those are treasures I'll hold onto for the rest my life. Love you always, Dad! 🥺❤️🕊️ by @iamlalabrown

Not me turning 30!!! 🤪🎉 Feeling incredibly blessed and loved as I celebrate my birthday! ✨️🥰 by @iamlalabrown
Chapter 31 ✨️ This birthday looks and feels far more different than I ever could've imagined. Through the grief, I'm choosing to find moments of joy not because life has been easy but because every new day is a blessing. Life is truly too short! Here's to healing, hope, blessings, another year of growth and embracing this new chapter. Happy Birthday to me. 🥂💙 by @iamlalabrown
