POSTS STORIES REELS

For years, I treated this account like a perfect music portfolio, and somewhere along the way, I stopped recognizing myself.

I’m learning to let go of perfectionism and that constant battle to put my "identities" into separate boxes, and instead recognize and embrace every part of who I am: Music, sport, food, culture, travel and everything in between.

It was called Massilia because that's an ancient name for modern-day Marseille.

When I chose my stage name I joined my real name with Massilia 🙊
That's memory number 1 of so many more in my songs.

You won't guess 🤯 what happened. Iplanned a trip with around 5 other students to Morocco, 5 different cities included. Before that trip I was in solo trip to Belgium and the Netherlands and the departure to Morocco was a day after I arrived back to Marseille.

Well... I slept in and missed my flight. I still made it, a day later. My friends had already started their tour and there was no way of catching up with them. So there I was, in a new continent, all by myself, about to start a tour throughout different cities with people I had never met.

The Calanques 🌊 were my favourite place to reminisce. These were a short hike from the university. Maybe I realized I needed to live close to the sea and not buried in snow in Calgary😶‍🌫️

This woman ❤️ means the world to me. I found the vacancy to be her roommate on Facebook. We were total strangers until she patiently waited for me at the train station to arrive to Marseille.
That's my best friend Mariana.

My solo trip to 🫖 Morocco tought me many lessons and one of those was to trust, to connect from the heart, to be grateful for the beauty that surrounds us and the energy that brought us together.

The Calanques ☀️were so freeing. Now I dream of doing this and then starting my open water workout right there.

Right after 🎤 I sang this song, a man comes up to me and says "I'm a scout for La Voix France (The Voice), I'd like to bring you to the show in Paris..."

I thought 🤔 about that proposal but it was not my calling so I said no to that and yes to my original plan - finishing my Commerce Degree.

That's why I love 📸capturing moments. I can look back and learn from my experiences.

🎒Conscious evolution.

Cheers for the 💎ones to come. I never want to stop exploring. by @iamlussilia

Inspired by the joy, connection, and vibrant energy that brings Latin communities together across Canada ❤️✨- and by the global celebration of the beautiful game that unites the world through music, culture, and emotion. ⚽🌎

Created by Venezuelan artist @iamlussilia for @latincouver , this song captures the spirit of Carnaval del Sol and will come alive on our stage with all the flavor, emotion, and Latin energy. 🔥

Get ready to see Lussilia live and experience her fusion of Latin folkloric rhythms at the festival.
