Anyone who has known me for longer than 30 seconds will have heard me say “my biggest goal in life is to sing with JoJo one day on stage” well… Life will never get better than this. @iamjojo thank you for everything. For your gifts, your warmth, your presence, your ability to make us feel so much … you are truly 1 of 1. It was an honour just to see you do your thing 🥰🍀 by @iamrhyschristian
HERE IT IS! My quarter final song, Border Song by the incredible @eltonjohn . Going into this against @clarecordell (who has been a friend of mine for about 15 years now!) and the amazing @rachel_modest1 , both of whom are legendary powerhouse vocalists, I knew I couldn’t compete. I tried to change the track, make it a bit more modern, a bit darker and more acoustic. Though I didn’t get through to the semi-finals,I can say I’m so proud of where I got on the show. I went into it thinking maybe I’ll get one or two rounds of producer auditions during lockdown to keep me busy and working, and I got to the TOP 40 in the country out of over 18,000 that auditioned. Thank you to everyone that has supported me, for showing me love during this wild ride. I promise - there’s more coming and I’m so excited for you to see and hear it! Finally, a huge thank you to @realsirtomjones , @tom.grennan - I wish people could see the conversations we had! @emmawillisofficial - thank you for being the most calming presence backstage any of us could ask for. A TRUE professional. And a massive, massive thank you to the whole team - @phillydlopez my amazing, supportive vocal coach in the show, to @_melthorpe @jadey_1044 , Amanda, @romhammettwest and all the outstanding production team who work tirelessly supporting us and making sure we’re our very best! You make the show what it is. Here’s to all of us in this next chapter. I can’t wait to see it💕 - Rhys xo #TheVoice #ThevoiceUk #music #sing #singers #singing #rapping #love #proud #family #friends by @iamrhyschristian
