Success Coach For Men| Host of The Climb🎙️
Helping men rise above burnout, father-wound & hidden battles.
📕: Awakening The Hero Within - April 22nd

POSTS STORIES REELS

Let me reintroduce myself.

I’m Teko Bailey—a success coach for men, speaker, father, and soon-to-be author of Awakening the Hero Within.

Why do I do what I do? Because I’ve seen too many men succeed on the outside while silently struggling on the inside, carrying hidden battles, father wounds, burnout, and the weight of expectations.

My role isn’t to tell you who to be. It’s to walk beside you, challenge you, and empower you to rise into the man God designed you to be.

This isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about building progress, purpose, and a legacy worth leaving.

So if you’re feeling stuck or resonate with anything I shared, know this, you don’t have to climb alone.
Shoot me a message anytime, I’d love to walk with you.

Life won’t always go as planned.
But when you face loss, pain, or setbacks, learn to dance through the storm.

Gratitude will carry you.
The valley isn’t the end. Stay faithful.
You are still fit for the climb.

If you’ve ever felt the weight of trying to hold it all together—faith, fatherhood, leadership, purpose—this is for you.

In this first episode, I’m opening up about the real tension so many men feel:
Called to be strong, but quietly burning out inside.

The Climb isn’t about pretending.
It’s about surrender.
About becoming the man God designed you to be—through faith, brotherhood, resilience, and the fire of the journey itself.

Acting out, controlling, using force to get your way. That's not strength. Glenn Stanton says it's actually evidence of weakness, a man who hasn't developed real strength so he reaches for force instead.

True masculinity protects. It doesn't violate. Glenn, from Focus on the Family, breaks down what healthy masculinity actually looks like, instead of the distorted version culture keeps arguing about.

What does healthy masculinity look like to you. Drop it in the comments, and catch the full conversation on the channel.

I got the call while I was on a golf course learning the basics of the game.

My sister's voice on the other end saying, My dad was in the hospital and it was serious.

Within 2 days I booked the first flight I could find, but by the time I landed, he was already gone. Three days, that's all it took...

My dad was a good man. Consistent. Hardworking. He provided for us without fail. But he didn't talk about how he felt. Affection didn't come easy. I understood later that he lost his own father at fifteen, and loss like that builds walls where there should have been bridges.

I didn't realize how much of that silence I'd inherited until I saw myself starting to do it too. Present in the house. Guarded in the heart. Showing up physically, but staying somewhere else emotionally.

That scared me more than anything.
Because you can't give your son what nobody gave you. Not without doing the work first.

So I started asking harder questions. Who am I when I'm not producing, providing, performing? What am I actually passing down to my boys?

That's what this book is about. Not becoming someone new, but waking up the man who's already there, underneath the roles and the performance and the silence.

If you've ever felt the gap between the father you want to be and the one you're actually being, I wrote this for you.

Let's keep climbing.

What does a really good shepherd look like? How does he take care of his sheep? If we truly understand or get a glimpse of this, we’ll get a taste of who God is.

King David, in the 23 Psalm, tries to bring us closer to this picture. Do you really believe the Lord if YOUR Shepherd?

Elio Alcindor's former wife passed away suddenly, no warning, no explanation, even after an autopsy.

His kids were seven, five, and four at the time. In that grief, he heard voices telling him to walk away from God. His answer: "This is not the time to go far from God, it's time to go even closer."

He's honest that it wasn't easy. He wrestled with God, asking why for almost two years. But he says there's light after the tunnel.

My dad was fifteen when his father past away. He lost everything overnight. No roadmap, no safety net, no time to grieve, just "figure it out."

So he did. He built a life from nothing. And I watched him do it.

Here's what nobody tells you about growing up watching a man survive like that: you inherit the drive. But you also inherit the lie underneath it — that stopping means you're weak. That rest is something other men get to have, not you.

I lived that lie too. Grinding through the exhaustion. Calling it discipline. Telling myself real men don't need a break.
A lie that many of us still believe.

But rest isn't the reward you get after you've earned it. It's the fuel that lets you keep going.

Isaiah 40:31 says those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, not those who never stop moving.

If you're reading this, running on fumes, wondering if this is just what fatherhood costs — it's not. You're just carrying more than you were ever meant to carry alone.

Take five minutes and take the free Legacy Assessment at tekobailey.com — it'll show you exactly where the weight is coming from.

And if you want the full story behind this, my grandfather, my dad, what I had to unlearn to become the father I am now — it's all in my book, Awakening the Hero Within. Link in bio, or grab it on Amazon.

You don't have to keep climbing on empty.

Praise isn't just singing, it's a weapon. @elioalcindor says every time he opens his mouth and praises God, it's medicine for his soul. David used it. Paul and Silas used it in prison. Whatever you're facing, praise is available to you.

The Bible says God abides in the praises of His people. So when you praise, you're not just lifting your voice — you're inviting Him closer.

How do you use praise in your life?

Ever caught yourself asking, Why am I doing this? A lot of men silently struggle in this area.

We don’t burn out because we lack ability.
We burn out because we’ve been running without alignment.

In my upcoming book – Awakening The Hero Within, I talk about how success without clarity eventually drains a man instead of fulfilling him. You can be capable, respected, even accomplished, and still feel empty if your motivation isn’t rooted in who God is forming you to be.

Prov. 16:3 - “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established”.

This isn’t a call to quit.
It’s an invitation to realign.

The drift starts in the heart. When you stop prioritizing time with God, work gets heavier. Relationships feel dull. Purpose starts to wobble.

Seek His presence first. Everything else realigns.
