Hola Doomscrollers. Hope you’re having a Monday of some sort.
This is a short 19 days solargraph from beautiful steveston BC August 12-30 2026. I had a 6 month exposure cooking here that was taken down, so I opted for another shorty at this spot.
Pretty soft image overall, but I dig the colours and stretchy pinhole effect in the rocks. #minicokecancamera #pinholecamera #longexposure #timemachines #solargraphy by @ianbeerphoto

New scanner who dis?
Here’s a 346 day exposure from beautiful spotted lake BC, sept20 2025-aug31 2026. Thanks OscarVTR for collecting this! I owe you a print!
Old scanner wasn’t great so I upgraded. A couple of new ones coming soon. #solargraphy #longexposure #pinholecamera #timemachines #secretcameras by @ianbeerphoto

Hello everyone, hope you’re having a Sunday today. This is 61 Days exposure Jan5-Mar7 2026, looking towards downtown and the burrard bridge.
Looks like it came loose and moved a bit, couple of ghost branches. Kept it short because it’s such a high traffic area. #solargraphy #pinholecamera #longexposure #timemachines #secretcameras by @ianbeerphoto

Happy Monday, fellow humans. Here’s a short 110 days exposure of the Vancouver Marine Museum and the Ben Franklin submersible (1968) jan5-apr24 2026. Mini coke can camera for tighter field of view and stealth camera hiding 😃. Somehow it lasted, despite a fence being put up right next to it at some point. Not bad. #solargraphy #pinholecamera #longexposure #timemachines #marinemuseum by @ianbeerphoto

102 days exposure of BCPlace from a tree near the slappy curb, jan5-Apr16 2026. The camera was a little off level, so the horizon is a bit janky. Will likely try again after summer solstice, but a little more camera right in front of the actual slappy curb. Good reflections from ghost windshields. #pinholecamera #solargraphy #longexposure #timemachines #bcplace by @ianbeerphoto

Recent solargraph that’s been on my iPad for a minute: 315 days exposure back at the space station in New West. Long enough that the sunpaths merged to fill the sky, Mar2 2025-Jan11 2026. I had a stretch of about 1.5 years at this location where my cameras would always be found and taken down, but I’ve had 5-6 successful images here since. #secretcamera #solargraphy #longexposure #pinholecamera #timemachines by @ianbeerphoto

Here’s a photo from last years memorial ride at Mount Seymour. A gathering of great people celebrating the life of Jeff Keenan. This year it’s Sunday apr12, Wish I could be there. Hit up my DMs and I can send you an emailable jpg version. It actually looks much better than this shite compressed insta version 😀Hasselblad xpan with hp5 film. A little milked out from the sun flare but not the worst photo. #jkwonforever #mtseymour #darkrun #xpan by @ianbeerphoto

Reminder of Sunny days ahead. 204 days exposure down by the river aug4 2025-feb23 2026. Pretty lucky to find this one on the banks after somebody broke/cut off the limb it was attached to. Maybe the swing bridge, log booms and post got burned out by the sunpaths? 🤷🏻‍♂️ #solargraphy #longexposure #beercancamera #pinholecamera #timemachines by @ianbeerphoto

119 Days near Osoyoos Sept18 2025-Jan14 2026. Thought this would be all barn but somehow it’s all fence no barn. What about the squiggles? Ghosts/Reflections/ Flashlights/Headlights? Graffiti bug? Hard to say. Thanks OscarVTR for collecting this for me! I didn’t think it would last 4-5 months. #solargraphy #longexposure #beercancamera #pinholecamera #timemachines by @ianbeerphoto

2026 let’s do this… 134 days exposure Aug21 2025-Jan1 2026, skinny arbutus trees and swirling sunpaths. Facing the sunset from the mossy knoll near the Todd Creek Trestle Bridge, Sooke BC. This one had a few holes pecked in it, which I’m thinking caused the lowest sun swirls and some minor fogging. I originally thought it was reflections off of the river, but you can’t really see it from right here. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #beercancamera #solargraphy #pinholecamera #longexposure #timemachines by @ianbeerphoto

8Banners Dragon 2 6x18 pinhole camera, 2-3 second exposure at f120ish, Lomocolor 100iso film. Seemed fitting after the last couple of days of ferryboat madness.
A few years ago I tried shooting this pinhole camera on the ferry, hoping to get sharp boat with fuzzy water and landscape.
I was messing around with my mini tripod when this man appeared suddenly, and seemed interested in what I was doing.
I don’t know who he is, but here he is. The man on the car deck. #8bannerspinhole #longexposure #bcferries #pinholecamera #lightleak by @ianbeerphoto
