1st Grade Emotion And Feelings Outreach Highlight Read Below🫁🧠

Ic3 Wellness thanks @pennhillssd as we’ve recently completed another youth outreach session, where we had the opportunity to speak with 1st grade students about their feelings and emotions.

During the visit, we focused on helping students identify and name their emotions, understand that all feelings are valid, and learn healthy ways to express how they feel. Each student received an emotions handout to reinforce emotional awareness, and we wrapped up by reading My First Book of Emotions by Diane Alber.

These early conversations are essential in building emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and confidence from a young age. This will continue to happen as our youth needs these conversations! We are proud to continue creating spaces where youth feel seen, heard, and supported.

💜💛 September is suicide prevention month .. Swipe

Suicide prevention starts with connection, conversation, and compassion. Suicide affects people of all ages, and prevention is possible when we create spaces where people feel supported, heard, and safe. In 2024, 48,824 people in the U.S. died by suicide, showing why these conversations matter.

This month, check on your people. Listen without judgment. Encourage someone to reach out for help. You never know how much a simple “Are you okay?” can mean.

Quarter 3 out of 4 completed of the year , and every workout and every moment you choose to show up for yourself matters. The gym isn’t just about building a stronger body , it’s about building a stronger mind. Every rep is a reminder that growth takes consistency, discipline, and resilience. Just keep going day by day 🚶🏾‍♂️‍➡️.

Take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come, then keep pushing forward. Another check in will happen in January to see our results and how we finished the quarter off !
