May be a hundreds of things that I'm grateful for, since it's a 3 stars there are three things i most thankful for

first I want to thank you my team

when every one in the world have doubts the idea of Sorn there a group a people who work alongside with me for many years and believe in me,

I asked them to bring every good thing they had to the table, to leave behind any drama, and to walk with me into uncharted territory. The path we chose was one no one had taken before—no shortcuts, no maps, no guarantees, only blind faith and hard work.

We threw away our shoes and braced ourselves for the hardest journey imaginable. I promised that if we were to fall, I fall first. But if we are there we would be arrive together, side by side. And here we are. Not just because of good intentions but because of your best efforts, your blood, sweat, and tears.
To my incredible team: Look around and enjoy the view. This is our moment. We are here.

The second person I want to thank is the one who gave me the courage to take
the leap of faith and open Sorn: my son, Nahm-kang.

From the moment I first held you, I was driven to become someone you could look up to. I wanted to show you that if you are strong, persistent, and willing
to work harder than anyone else, dreams can actually come true.

You don't know how glad i am that you told me I am your superhero, but do you know what is my superpower actually is..
it is you, your sister and your Mom, Always

someday you will learn in school who is the first man landed on the moon, but learn this today, your daddy is the first Thai man who landed a three michelin stars

a very small pieces of history has written and nothing can ever changed that

Last but not least
everything we do, for the land we call home. All and all, absolutely, definitely.

Today... it's one year that my Grandma passed away, I didn't post anything back then because I don't want to.. She live a full life surround by grand kids, no one should feel sorry. But today I miss her so much.

The two of us, our memories goes long way back. My grandma was a school teacher at Nakorn sri Thammarat in Southern Thailand as both my parent are separated so i stay with her to study to learn, i love her cooking so much so i always around when she cooks, so my first job is a sous chef to cook for all our younger cousin, relatives or my parents friends or co worker. They all love her cookings so she open a restaurant call "Baan Ice" (mean ice's home or my home) i really dont know why until i graduate back from US, no one eat here anymore my grand ma is too old no one cares... but as my name i quit my office desk job and work on our old restaurant... I really enjoy what i'm doing. So happy when some one say the food is good. That's how i start my career.
May be... just may be she is the only one that knew my path all along, thank you grand ma, I have today because i had you, i love u and ... I just want to hug you again. by @ice_supaksorn

파라다이스시티에서 열린 LA LISTE 미식 포럼
‘Next Gastronomy Korea 2026’.

세계적인 셰프들이 한자리에 모여 미식의 유산과 정체성,
그리고 포용의 가치에 관한 다양한 이야기를 나눴다.
@amaurybouhours @ice_supaksorn @chefvickycheng @guillaume_gomez_

LA LISTE’s Next Gastronomy Korea 2026, held at Paradise City, brought together world-renowned chefs to share their perspectives on culinary heritage, identity, and inclusivity.

@amaurybouhours @ice_supaksorn @chefvickycheng @guillaume_gomez_

From preserving traditions while embracing new techniques and cultures, to passing local ingredients and culinary knowledge on to the next generation, and creating more inclusive opportunities in the kitchen.

It was such a meaningful experience to hear these chefs, each from a different cultural background, share the values and philosophies behind their cooking.

A wonderful reminder that gastronomy goes far beyond what’s on the plate, and that food can play a meaningful role in society. 😊

thank you to LA LISTE, Paradise City, @metizen_official, and @stephaniezchoice for bringing everyone together for such an inspiring event!

OAD is built on the opinions of the world’s most discerning diners—those who travel the globe in search of culinary excellence.

To earn their recognition as No. 1 in Asia once again for 2026 is both a tremendous honor and a reminder. It reminds us that to satisfy the world’s most passionate palates, we must remain fiercely loyal to our roots. This achievement belongs to our incredible team, and the local farmers and fishermen whose hard work brings the true soul of Southern Thai cuisine to life.

Thank you to every reviewer and every guest for being a part of our journey. We will keep cooking from the heart.
