Daniella Vale: Lost Again
October 28, 2026 to January 30, 2027
Reception Oct 28th, 6-8pm
85 Delancey St, 2nd-3rd Floor, New York, NY 10002

IFAC Arts is pleased to present Lost Again, an exhibition of new and recent works by photographer Daniella Vale, at the gallery’s 85 Delancey Street location in New York. The exhibition marks Vale’s first solo exhibition with the gallery.

Daniella Vale is an American photographer and filmmaker, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1987, who lives and works in New York. Her practice explores the relationship between photographic observation and the subsequent reconstruction of experience. Associated with the Pittsburgh experimental-film culture from a young age, she has moved freely between landscape, architecture, and scale manipulation, shifting attention to the construction of images themselves.

Tonight I’m donating a new piece to the Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street, the signature gala of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research.

For nearly 30 years, the Foundation has funded research into blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma, helping scientists find more effective therapies that save lives. The Angel Ball honors those who have made significant humanitarian and philanthropic contributions to that mission, and it’s one of the highlights of the New York social season.

🎨 Art Silent Auction: open through October 22
👜 Chanel Cheetah Medium Flap Bag raffle: closes tonight, winner drawn at the gala (you don’t need to be present to win)

Every bid brings researchers closer to a cure. Thank you for bidding!

Thank you @larapancurator for bringing me into this important initiative.

Brian Leo
Dog from Odyssey with Tennis Ball
2026
Acrylic on canvas
8 × 8 inches

In Dog from Odyssey with Tennis Ball, Brian Leo transforms a familiar moment into an intimate portrait of attention, loyalty, and play. Odyssey sits against a vivid green field, tennis ball firmly held and eyes fixed upon the viewer. Loose, translucent brushwork gives the small painting an immediacy that feels both affectionate and slightly comic. At once a portrait and a personal emblem, the work captures the complete concentration of a dog waiting for the game to begin.

Brian Leo (b. 1976, New Jersey) is a New York-based painter known for vibrant, darkly humorous works exploring personal identity, politics, popular culture, and contemporary life. Often presented in expansive installations of small canvases, his paintings combine cartoon-like figures, appropriated imagery, and bold color to create unexpected connections between private experience and public events. Leo received his BFA from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts in 1999 and has exhibited internationally in galleries and art fairs. by @ifacarts
