Break Out song out now. Album drops Friday! MPC live version. The sample is Victoria Victoria a super talented Winston Salem artist. But this time filtered the sample as I did in the studio version. The album is called Rides. Wifey is on half the songs. The album is just that classic North Carolina hip hop sound, a blend of jazz, soul, indie pop and more, chopped into big booming drums that bounce and bass that locks it all in with a focus on interesting rhyme schemes and cadences that flow through pockets of the beat. #boombap #nchiphop #mpclive #sp404 #fingerdrumming by @ignite_mindz
🚨 My album drops Friday! Oct. 30th. It’s called Rides because I have a line on a song “kids, college, work, still these songs need to be freed,” so the only time I had to write was on car rides usually after dropping the kids somewhere. I’m not Jay Z so walking into the house I’m writing the 1-4 bars I got into my phone. It’s a game of inches lol. My best work? Maybe. So CDs and Bandcamp Oct. 30th. Streaming will be sometime in November. @czarheel thank you for the art, it feels like such a big part of this. #nchiphop #lofihiphop #boombaphiphop #indierap #undergroundhiphop by @ignite_mindz
